At present,most of oil fields in our country have entered the late development stage,the water-cut of oilfield increasing rapidly,the traditional enhanced oil recovery methods have not economic benefits.The tertiary oil recovery technology is a kind of enhanced oil recovery method,which meets those requirements,and the polymer flooding technology has a great research significance,with the advantages of simple mechanism and the rapid development.This paper studys in depth the research of the domestic and foreign polymer flooding technology development,gives full consideration to the effective polymer viscosity,adsorption effect,dead pore volume in rock and effects on the properties of aqueous phase,and establishes a corresponding mathematical model on the basis of the black oil model.The free water surface position and the thickness of the transition zone also be calculated by using the gravity balance method to initialize the reservoir pressure and saturation.As well as in order to weaken the ill condition of the coefficient matrix of the equation group,this paper takes some measures to optimize the numerical model and applies a fully implicit method to ensure a rapid and stable solution.Then coding a MATLAB program to realise the numerical simulation process of polymer flooding,and compared with the commercial software of Eclipse results to ensure the error within the scope of the permit.
