In recent years,in tandem with our country's economic development,industrialization has gradually improved.The chemical industry is also developing.Because the chemical industry involves materials that are toxic,harmful,flammable,and complex,there are a lot of sources of risk.These sources of risk exist in the production,transportation,storage processes of materials as well as in the dangers from fire or explosions,leakages and damages to human health.Risk also poses problems to ecological environment pollution and accidents risking serious losses of social property.Environmental risk assessment is a strong comprehensive and interdisciplinary subject that has been emerging in China after more than twenty years of development.The theoretical foundation has been basically formed,but issues remain such as confusion on concepts,risk identification errors and other problems.Therefore,improving and perfecting the environmental risk assessment system,study,and carrying out the theoretical basis of environmental risk assessments in the chemical industry along with raising the level of risk management,and reaching an acceptable level of risk are critical.All of this can benefit the development of the chemical industry,social security and stability.In this paper,with reference to a large number of documents,relevant information,combined with "Construction Project Environmental Risk Assessment Guidelines," is an analysis of the chemical industry,environmental risk assessment and prevention,and technology.First of all,the paper introduces the research status of environmental risk assessment at home and abroad,as well as the classification,content,procedure and method of environmental risk assessment.Then,the correlation between environmental risk assessment and safety risk assessment was studied,and the adverse weather conditions and terrain features in the environmental risk assessment of chemical industry were determined.Secondly,the characteristics and risk types of chemical industry are analyzed,and the environmental risk assessment system of chemical industry is studied.Through risk identification,source analysis,consequence calculation,risk assessment,risk management,from the source control of the occurrence of risk accidents.In the technical methods of risk prevention and control,the establishment of the three level of the accident prevention and control system of sewage and accident emergency plan,to provide a scientific basis for risk management.According to the basic theory of environmental risk assessment presented in this paper as well as assessment methods,prediction models combined with the environmental risk assessment of a chemical project study,my research recognizes the risks in the development of chemical projects.On the basis of the technical framework,this paper determines the chemical enterprises in the production,processing,transportation,storage and transportation in the process of the risk source and using the scientific method of identification.This paper discusses determining the maximum credible accidents,using material leakage and fire explosion toxins released to calculate the degree of the impact on the surrounding environment.Finally,determining the acceptable level of risk,establishing viable,effective environmental risk control measures and risk contingency plans that provide a platform for environmental risk assessment of the chemical industry are discussed.
