| Grinding is one of the most commonly used machining methods.In the grinding process,the state of the grinding wheel’s working surface changes every moment.As the processing time continues to increase,the abrasive grain wears,breaks,and falls off,and the grinding wheel surface machining state changes,and the machining accuracy and surface quality of the workpiece may be affected..If the grinding wheel cannot be timely compensated and trimmed at this time,the machining quality of the workpiece and the efficiency of the grinding process will be affected.Therefore,studying the rapid on-line detection of wear and blunt of the grinding wheel is of great significance for improving the grinding quality,processing efficiency and automation.In this paper,the differential pressure technology and error separation technology are comprehensively used to study and establish a new method and new system for on-line detection of wear and blunt of grinding wheels by detecting the change in liquid pressure from the grinding coolant nozzle end face to the grinding wheel working surface.The system uses differential pressure technology and error separation technology to effectively solve the fluctuations caused by the existing pressure sources in the original hydraulic method and the influence of the spindle’s motion error on the detection results.The research results of this paper mainly include the following aspects:(1)After the theoretical analysis of differential pressure technology and error separation technology,a schematic block diagram of an online detection system was established,and the main factors affecting the accuracy and sensitivity of the measurement system were analyzed.(2)Reasonable selection of the main components of the on-line inspection system for grinding wheel wear and blunt,design and manufacture of main nozzles and measuring nozzles.An on-line testing system for grinding wheel wear and blunt was established based on LabVIEW technology.Signal analysis and data processing techniques were used to reduce or eliminate the factors affecting the accuracy of the measurement system.(3)Using the on-line detection system of grinding wheel wear amount and blunt,the experiment and analysis of the wear and blunt degree of grinding wheel were carried out online.The experimental results show that the system for on-line detection of wear and blunt of grinding wheel established in this paper can achieve real-time detection of wear and blunt of grinding wheel under a given working grinding condition,with high accuracy,low cost and simplicity.Practical and other features. |
