| Microwave vulcanization is a new type of rubber vulcanization that cures faster and more efficiently.At present,this method has not been promoted in the tire industry.This is because the metal cords in tires generate a lot of heat and even scorch in the microwave field due to the skin effect and the eddy current effect.This causes microwaves vulcanized tires cannot be achieved.We intends to solve this problem by coating silicon carbide on the metal skeleton,mainly research at the following four aspects.This paper studied the influence of microwave frequency and temperature on the dielectric parameters of silicon carbide coating materials;it also conducted microwave heating of rubber composites containing uncoated silicon carbide coating materials and rubber composites coated with silicon carbide coating materials.Study;numerical simulations of microwave heating of rubber,rubber composites containing steel wire,and rubber composites containing metal skeletons covered with three different components of silicon carbide coating materials,analysis of their temperature field and electric field,and the following conclusions have been obtained:1.With the increase of microwave frequency,the dielectric parameters of silicon carbide coating materials are slowly increased first.When the frequency reaches a certain point,the dielectric parameters increase rapidly,then quickly fall back,and then slowly rise..2.When the microwave frequency is 915 MHz and 2450 MHz,the real part of the complex permittivity of the silicon carbide coating material increases with the temperature;when the microwave frequency is 915 MHz,the complex permittivity of the silicon carbide coating material is imaginary Both loss tangent and loss tangent increase with increasing temperature.When the microwave frequency is 2450 MHz,both the imaginary part and the loss tangent of the complex permittivity of the three different components of the silicon carbide coating material decrease as the temperature increases..3.The coated silicon carbide material can effectively prevent the spark discharge phenomenon;the closer the distance from the silicon carbide coated iron sheet,the higher the temperature;the greater the thickness of the coating,the higher the temperature around the iron sheet;The temperature rise rate varies with the cubic polynomial function of the coating thickness of the silicon carbide coated iron sheet;the effect of the length of the temperature measurement point from the center of the silicon carbide coated iron sheet on the temperature rise rate varies according to a quadratic polynomial function.4.The steel wire has a great influence on the temperature and electric field distribution of the rubber composite;the temperature of the rubber composite containing the metal skeleton coated with the coating material is lower than that of the rubber composite containing the steel wire.The greater the content of silicon carbide,the temperature distribution The more uniform it is,the more effective it is to attenuate the "flaming" phenomenon caused by the skin effect. |
