As important separation technologies,liquid-liquid extraction and extractive distillation are widely used in petroleum,chemical,and other production fields.Due to the computational complexity and the inherent limitations of single software,it is necessary for multiple software or multiple components to cooperate with software to deal with the problems of extraction and extractive distillation process quickly and accurately.Therefore,it is very necessary to develop extraction and extractive distillation unit module which meets the CAPE-OPEN standard and achieve integration between software and components through module calls.In this paper,based on the research of extraction and extractive distillation processes,the functions of extraction and extractive distillation modules are defined,the corresponding mathematical model is established,and the modified sum-rates method is applied to solve the adiabatic extraction process.The isothermal sum rates method is used to solve the isothermal extraction and the extraction process of the specified temperature profile.An improved inside-out Rates is used to calculate the extractive distillation process.According to the object-oriented idea,the extraction tower and extractive distillation tower unit module based on CAPE-OPEN standard are developed using the Visual C++ language and the effectiveness of the development of the module inspection.Some examples of aromatics extraction and butadiene extraction were simulated with the developed extraction tower and the extractive distillation tower unit module.Under the same physical property data and operating conditions,the Extract and RadFrac modules in the simulation software Aspen Plus and the self-developed extraction tower and extractive distillation tower unit modules were used to calculate examples of aromatics extraction and butadiene extraction,and the calculation results were compared with the actual industrial verification indicators.The results show that the calculation results of the extraction tower and extractive distillation tower unit module developed in this paper are accurate and reliable,and can be applied for the simulation calculation of actual industrial processes;the developed unit modules can be calculated normally in the simulation system following the CAPE-OPEN standard,and can be called in simulation software that adheres to this standard to realize the seamless integration between components and simulation software.The developed CAPE-OPEN based extraction tower and extractive distillation tower unit operating module are successfully invoked in the process simulation software.The developed unit operating module has strong compatibility,and can be help to speed up the development of process simulation software.The developed unit operating module can be used for the simulation research of extraction and extractive distillation process,and solve the problems encountered in production and improve process efficiency.
