BackgroudPoststroke depression(PSD)is a common consequence of stroke leading to a series of mental disorder, the incidence of which is about30%-50%Ⅰ.It not only bring about some psychic trouble and economic burden to patiens and their families, but also be conducive to the recovery of neurofunction, even increase the hospitalization and mortality. It has a harm influence on future life. Therefore, the clinicians should pay attention to patients inclined to depression and take measures to prevent it as soon. But the risk factors of PSD aren’t clear and will disturb the prevention. This study investigated the patients’ information to achieve prevalence of PSD in 60 days after stroke and related factors of PSD,so as to prevent frome onset.MethodAccording to the criteria forward-looking into the neurology department of 2nd affiliated hospital of CQMU from Augest 2014 to February 2015, there are 98cases included in tins study. The information of all the objects of this study is collected whithin 3days from patients’ admission.About 60days after stroke,we telephoned all the patiens.Poststroke depression was considered to be present when the CCMD-3 was met.The severity of depression was estimated according to the Hamiltion Depression Scale(HMDS).We put patiens into two groups: the PSD group and the non-PSD group. We calculated the prevalence of PSD,and made comparition between the two groups in general,to understand the related factors.Results1.A total of 98 acute stroke survivors were included and 37cases were conformed to the standard of PSD. The incidence of PSD is 37.78%,including 19 mild patients,14 moderate patients and 4 severe patients.2.The study found that PSD patients’personality, sex, recent negative life events, place of residence and family relationship are associated with the occurrence of PSD;and diploma had no significance with the occurrence of PSD.3.In patients’hositories, hypertension, diabetes, heart diseases are relative with the incidence of PSD, drinking and smoking had no significant correlation with PSD.4.From the location of stroke, there are no significant statistical differences between the PSD group and the non PSD group.5.The PSD group had higher NIHSS score than the non PSD group, and lower MMSE score than the non PSD group. The results indicated that neurofunction and cognitive function both have statistical significance between the tow groups, and both are positive related with PSD.ConclusionsPSD is frequent after stroke, and common in mild and moderate depression. There’re many related and independent factors of PSD,including sex, hypertention, heart diseases, diabiets, family relationship, neurofunction and conigtive function.
