| Objective: The aims of this research are to observe the clinical efficacy of Tongluo Decoction which professor LiangWenzhen developed from her experience against treatments on CPID with qi deficiency and blood stasis and to analysis the effect it brings on patients’ physical indicators, hemarheology and proinflammatory anti-inflammatory cytokines.Method: Divide 75 patients with CPID into two groups. 40 out of 75 randomly drawn take Tongluo Decoction, the rest 35 take Guizhi Fuling capsule for comparison. Both two groups start from the 5th day of their menstruation for 3 menstrual cycle and 20 days’ continuous taking for each cycle. A 3-ml phlebotomizing is required before and after the treatment for each patient in the morning with an empty stomach. After centrifugalization, store the blood below degree 80. Then go to compare the clinical symptoms and physical signs of two groups before and after, check the combining effects especially clinical efficacy of TCM symptoms and analyze patients’ indicators change on hemarheology, TNF-α,IL-8 and IL-10.Results: The efficiency rate for Tongluo Decoction group is 95%, for the comparison group Guizhi Fuling capsule is 88.6%. Their difference is statistically significant.(P<0.05). On the aspect of TCM symptoms’ efficacy, Tongluo Decoction group has 97.5% rate of efficiency and the comparison group has 91.4% as well. The contrast is significant on statistics. After treatment, patients with CPID improved significantly on the symptoms of hypogastralgia or sharp pain, lumbosacral pain or pain more during the menstrual period, the leucorrhea increased, menoxenia, breast distention before menstruation etc. The whole blood viscosity and reduced whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and HCT also reduced. The difference is significant( P <0.05). TNF-ɑ and IL-8 reduced after treatment and IL-10 increased, compared with the period prior to treatment, difference is significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Tongluo Decoction in the treatment of qi stagnation and blood stasis type pelvic inflammatory disease curative effect, can effectively relieve patients’ clinical symptoms and local signs, significant improvement in blood flow in patients with learn(high shear whole blood viscosity, low shear whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, hematocrit) changes, reduce TNF alpha, IL-8 cytokine levels and improve the anti inflammatory cytokine IL-10 content, promote the impaired recovery of tissue repair and cell function, regulate immune function, improve the quality of life of patients.It is effective on the treatment of seque of PID,which ought to be worthy of clinical promotion. |
