| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Gu Fa Mei Ran Decoction for the of liver and kidney deficiency type of Alopecia Areata and To explore its mechanism by detecting the peripheral IFN-γ、IL-10 level of patients before and after treatment.Methods:60 cases were randomly divided into two groups with 30 cases each.In addition,choose 30 healthy volunteers as healthy control group.The treatment group were given Gu Fa Mei Ran Decoction and the control group were given Liu Wei Di Huang Decoction.The treatment course was four weeks,Two groups of treatment time was three courses.Detected peripheral IFN-γ、IL-10 level of healthy volunteers and patients before and after treatment.Results:1.In the comparison of the total curative effective rate of two groups,the treatment group was 96.67%,the other one was 73.33%.The difference had statistically significance.The curative effect of treatment group was better than control.2.Comparison of secondary symptom score:After 12 weeks,the two groups were compared with before,the difference had statistically significance;the treatment group compared with the control group,the difference had no statistically significance.3.Comparison of IFN-γ、IL-10 level:Before treatment,the two groups were compared with the healthy control group,the difference had statistically significance;The treatment group compared with the control,the difference had no statistically significance.After 12 weeks,the treatment group was compared with the control group,the difference had no statistically significance;the two groups were compared with the healthy control group,the difference had no statistically significance;The difference had statistically significance between the two groups before treatment.Conclusions:The clinical curative effective of Gu Fa Mei Ran Decoction was better than Liu Wei Di Huang Decoction,the safety of the two drugs were all good;The two drugs can improve the levels of IFN-γ and IL-10.The result showed that two groups of drugs may be through adjusting cytokine levels,improve immune function,which played a therapeutic role for alopecia areata. |
