Application Of Mind Map In Perioperative Nursing Care Of Patients With Breast Cancer

ObjectiveTo investigate and analyze the perioperative nursing of patients with breast cancer,and explore the application of mind map in perioperative nursing care of patients with breast cancer.Through nursing intervention to change patients’ cognitive level of knowledge-attitude-behavior model,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications of breast cancer patients,so as to improve patient satisfaction.Methods265 patients with breast cancer receiving radical mastectomy treatme nt from department of general surgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Li aoning Medical University,who met the inclusion criteria and exclusion cr iteria,were selected according to the time of admission.Nursing work w as improved by establishing research group,focusing on discussing the design of perioperative nursing mind map and the implementation and ot her processes of mind map.Effect was evaluated by incidence of postop erative complications on patients with breast cancer,changes of the patie nt’s knowledge-attitude-behavior model and patient’s satisfaction.ResultsThrough nursing intervention,incidence of postoperative complications of patients with breast cancer in the two groups decreased,bleeding(2? =9.919,P=0.009);seroma(?2 =6.631,P=0.039);flap necrosis(?2 =6.256,P=0.042);upper extremity swelling(2? =9.897,P=0.011);other item(?2 =10.534,P=0.005),the differences were statistically significant;Knowledge,attit ude,behavior model and care model overall score of patients during peri operative period were statistically significant(P<0.01);each item of health knowledge during perioperative period such as ward environment,acqu aintance of health care workers,item management and mastery level of relevant system were not statistically significant(P>0.05);the rest of the entries were statistically significant(P<0.05).Item of health beliefs and h ealth behaviors of the patients during perioperative period were statisticall y significant(P<0.01);patient satisfaction was statistically significant(2? =6.752,P=0.034).ConclusionsBy means of nursing intervention through application of mind map,it is possible to grasp the key content and direction of perioperative nursing on patients with breast cancer and facilitate nurses to understand and remember,which not only improve patients’ cognitive level of knowledge-attitude-behavior model,but also reduce the incidence of postoperative complications on patients with breast cancer as well as increase patient satisfaction.
