ObjectiveTo describe the status of gastric cancer patients′ readiness for hospital discharge and to explore its related influencing factors; To explore the intervention effect of health education with mind map,so as to improve the level of readiness for hospital discharge and the level of home-based rehabilitation, and ensure the safety of discharge.MethodsThe study pointed out in two stages. The first stage: From December 2018 to June 2019,General information questionnaire,RHDS、QDTS and SSRS were used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 131 gastric cancer patients who were admitted to the one Three Level of First-class Hospital in Xuzhou.Excel spreadsheet input data,SPSS22.0 software for statistical analysis. The second stage: 62 patients with gastric cancer were selected from the oncology department.31 people were divided into the control group and 31 in intervention group according to their admission time. The control group adopted the traditional oral health education mode on the basis of routine nursing, the intervention group adopted the mind map health education mode on the basis of routine nursing. To compare the two groups’ level of readiness for hospital discharge, discharge guidance quality、nursing satisfaction and self-care agency.Results1.The mean total score of RHDS for patients with gastric cancer was(77.08 ±12.87),the standardized score was(6.42±1.07),which was at a lower level; The total score of QDTS was(178.16 ± 20.51),which was above the middle level; The total score of social support rating scale was(38.76 ± 7.66),which was at a higher level.2.The results of single factor analysis indicated that age, education, living alone, occupation, family per capita income and length of hospital stay were related to the readiness for hospital discharge(P < 0.05).3.The results of Pearson correlation analysis indicated that the readiness for hospital discharge was positively correlated with quality of discharge teaching(r =0.514,P < 0.05),and positively correlated with social support(r = 0.509,P < 0.05).4.The results of Multiple linear regression analysis indicated that there were three factors, education level, discharge guidance skills and effect, subjective support, which could explain 39.0% of the total variance of discharge readiness.5.The t-test results of two independent samples: after intervention, the scores of readiness for hospital discharge 、discharge guidance quality and self-care agency in the intervention group were significantly higher(P < 0.05).In addition to the expected support dimension, there was no significant difference(P > 0.05),and there was significant difference between other dimensions(P < 0.05).The chi-square test results indicated that the satisfaction of health education among the intervention group was significantly higher(P <0.05).Conclusion1.At present, the gastric cancer patients′ readiness for hospital discharge is at a low level, which needs to be further improved.2.The quality of discharge guidance and social support are positively correlated with discharge readiness. The main influencing factors of discharge readiness are education, discharge guidance skills and effect, and subjective support.3.The health education with mind map can effectively improve the quality of discharge guidance for patients with gastric cancer,so as to improve the level of discharge preparation, improve the ability of home-based rehabilitation, and ensure the safety of discharge.
