| Objective:The Study aimed to observe the safety and effectiveness of Calculus Bovis Sativus by treating Henoch-Schonlein Purpura of children with excess-heat syndrome.Methods:Utilizing the non-randomized concurrent control trail method,collecting the children with Henoch-Schonlein Purpura in Hubei Provincial Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital pediatric kidney disease specialist outpatient and residential department from Jun 2014 to October 2015,then selected 72 cases,divided them into two groups randomly,treatment group and control group,each 36 cases,according to the order of visiting time,odd number or even number.Compared the Safety and efficacy indexes of the two groups before and after treatment in a week,2 weeks and followed up for 6 months.The control group used the basic treatment,including general treatment and symptomatic treatment of the Henoch-Schonlein Purpura,while the treatment group combined with Calculus Bovis Sativus at the same time.1 pill,0.15 g,each day,for 7 days and then continued to use it with half a pill,0.075 g,for 7days,and this was a course.Continued to use the Calculus Bovis Sativus if the heat was heavy,if the heat was weakened,then reduced half the amount and continued to use it for a week.Filled and recorded the case report form and the TCM symptoms score table respectively before and after treatment in a week,2 weeks.Compared the general situation and the changes of the indexes before and after the treatment by the statistical method,and then followed up for 6 months,compared the long-term prognosis.Results :67 cases finally Completed the treatment and included in the statistics,including 34 cases of the treatment group,33 cases of the control group.All of the children had stable vital signs.The laboratory indexes related to the security were not abnormal.1.The onset time: The onset time of the treatment group compared to the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicated that the treatment group is much better than the control group in the aspect of the onset time.In the treatment group,the time of purpura subsided was shorten.2.The main symptom scores : the main symptom score of the treatment group in a week,2 weeks compared with the control group,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,indicated that the treatment group had better short-term and long-term curative effect than the control group.And the effect of 2 weeks after treatment has more advantages.3.The curative effect of main symptom: a week after treatment,the cure rate of the treatment group was 33.33%,the effective rate was 69.70%;2 weeks after treatment,the cure rate was 48.48%,the effective rate was 78.79%;The control group,a week and 2 weeks after treatment,the cure rate and effective rate were 14.71%,44.12%,26.47% and 52.94%.By statistical analysis,a week,2 weeks after treatment,compared the curcative effect of main symptom of treatment group and control group,all of the P < 0.05,the difference was significant,indicated that the treatment group had better short-term curative effect than the control group.4.The follow-up: Followed up for 6 months,the treatment group had a lower number of new cases of abnormal urine test,and for the children with renel damage,the urine test situation of the treatment group improved obviously than the control group,by statistical analysis,P<0.05,the difference was significant.But compared with the skin purpura,P>0.05,the two groups had no significant difference.5.The TCM syndrome score: a week,2 weeks after treatment,the treatment group was better compared with control group in the TCM syndrome score,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant.6.The curative effect of TCM symptom: 2 weeks after treatment had an advantage effect,according to the statistics of TCM syndrome score,of the cured rate the treatment group was 12.12%,the control group was 2.94%;Of the effective rate,treatment group was 60.61%,control group was 35.29%,the difference of statistical significance(P<0.05),treatment group had significantly higher effect than that of the control group.7.The effect of different syndromes in the treatment group: the treatment group hemopyretic bleeding syndrome curative effect was better than that of wind heat invading collaterals.8.Analysis of main syndromes and secondary syndromes: In aspects of purpura,feeling of pain and itching,abdominal pain,abnormal urine,the treatment group had better effect.2 weeks after treatment,In aspects of Pharyngeal swelling and body temperature,dry mouth and throat,afraid of hot,red cheek and lip,the treatment group had better effect.by statistical analysis,P<0.05,the two groups have significant difference.Conclusion:1.Calculus Bovis Sativus used to treat Henoch-Schonlein Purpura of children with excess-heat syndrome was safety and effectiveness,and it rapid onseted,could shorten the course,worthed to promote.2.In aspects of purpura,feeling of pain and itching,abdominal pain,and abnormal urine,the treatment group had better effect.But it hadn’t obvious advantage in aspect of joint pain,so Calculus Bovis Sativus good for the short-term prognosis.3.Calculus Bovis Sativus can partly improved the long-term prognosis,and it can also prevented and relieved renal damage,but can not significantly reduced the recurrence of skin purpura.4.Compared with that of wind heat invading collateralsthe treatment group hemopyretic bleeding syndrome curative effect was better. |
