Clinical Observation Of Bu Shen Zhuang Jin Decoction Combined With Lumbar Facet Joint Release In Treating The Lumbago Caused By The Harm Of Posterior Rami Of Spinal Nerves

Objective To compare the different clinical effect between lumbar facet joint release alone and Bu Shen Zhuang Jin Decoction combined with lumbar facet joint release in treating the lumbago caused by the harm of posterior rami of spinal nerves.According to explain the advantage of Bu Shen Zhuang Jin Decoction combined with lumbar facet joint release,providing the best way for treating the lumbago.According to review the process of the the lumbar facet joint release,techniques of the operation were summarized.Methods Since May 2014 to October 2015,65 patients had been collected. All of them were diagnosed as rami posterior nerve spinal syndrome by one team of doctors who worked at Orthopedics of Hubei Provincial Hospital.50 of them were followed up successfully.Half of the patients followed up were treated by the lumbar facet joint release,physiotherapy,exercise and were called the control group.The other 25 patients were treated by traditional Chinese medicine and the treatments which were used to treat the control group.The later 25 patients constituted the treatment group.All patients were treated by the same group of doctors.Collecting VAS and JOA scores followed up before treatment,2 weeks later, 3 months after treatments.Using SPSS 19.0 to calculate all results.Then analyzing and comparing the different results between two groups before or after treatments;To summarize the technique of the the lumbar facet joint release by reviewing 50 operations.Results Before the treatment,there was no obvious difference between treatment group and control group in age,sex,VAS and JOA scores(P﹥0.05).After treated 2 weeks, VAS scores of all patients were lower and the JOA scores were higher than before.That means the treatments in both control group and treatment group can relieve pains and improve dysfunction obviously.Followed up 3 months later,the VAS scores in treatment group were decreased significantly than the control group and the scores of JOA on physical function,bodily pain,general health,vitality,social function were increased significantly than the control group.Conclusion The treantments in two groups can take away the lumbagos,ameliorate dysfunction and improve the quality of life rapidly and sign- ificantly.But the treatments combined lumbar facet joint release with Bu Shen Zhuang Jin Decoction have lower level in the VAS than the control group and a better effect on both pain management and the quality of Life than the control group for a long time. By reviewing 50 operations,summarizing techniques of the lumbar facet joint release to guide clinical operation.It is good for us to prom- ote the the lumbar facet joint release.Because it is very accurate, easy to operation,minimally invasive,easy to be recovered,fast,ch- eap,and has little side effect.
