A remarkable progress has been made in China’s health informatization construction in the past ten years. The application of information system has been improving, too. A great amount of medical information is accurately recorded. It turns to be more and more important to dig out the deeply-hidden valuable information from these massive data resources. At home, there are many researches of data-mining technology in the field of medical services, but so far, the methods of actual mining applications with different goals, which appropriately choose the scientific data-mining algorithm are rare. Therefore, to medical personnel, a study of simple and suitable data-mining technology for specific cases is valuable.Based on the analysis of various data-mining algorithms and some cases of illness from one community hospital, the paper uses IBM SPSS Modeler to study the application of data-mining algorithm in the electronic medical records. The study researches and analyzes the data-collection, data-cleaning and data-screening method. Combining with two kinds of common medical records-hypertension and hysteromyoma, a comparative analysis of different data-mining models summarizes the characteristics and applicable scope of various algorithms, finds out a mining model which is suitable for the above common diseases and is available in the medical personnel.
