Objective:This study observed the clinical therapeutic effects on tonifying kidney and inducing ovulation decoction for luteinized unruptured follicle syndrome (LUFS) patients in their controlled ovarian stimulation. Besides, it explored and discussed the mechanisms of the therapy, in order to provide clinical evidence for the integration of traditional and western medicine to optimize the prevention and treatment of LUFS, as well as to improve the clinical pregnancy rate effectively.Methods:45 cases of LUFS patients were randomly divided into three groups,15 cases in each group, drug intervention for three consecutive menstrual cycles, group A:tonifying kidney and inducing ovulation decoction+HCG, group B:Xuefu-Zhuyu oral liquid+HCG, group C:HCG only. This study compared the rate of ovulation, clinical pregnancy and recurrence of LUF cycle among the three groups. It also studied the therapeutic mechanism of tonifying kidney and inducing ovulation decoction, as well as the similarities and differences of the effects between the decoction and Xuefu-Zhuyu oral liquid. At the same time, it observed the correlations of the recurrence of LUF, such as the the history of treatments in ovulation induction and primary diseases.Results:①The ovulation rates of the three groups were:70.7% in group A,75% in group B, 47.5% in group C.The recurrence rates of LUFS of the three groups were:29.3% in group A, 25% in group B,52.5% in group C. The differences among the rates of ovulation were statistically significant (P<0.05), the differences among the recurrence rates of LUF as well. ② The clinical pregnancy rates in the three groups were:33.3% in group A,6.7% in group B, 13.3% in group C, the difference wasn’t statistically significant (P>0.05). ③The total effective rates of ovulation induction in the three groups were:86.7% in group A,80% in group B,66.7% in group C, the difference wasn’t statistically significant (P>0.05). ④Compared to those who hadn’t had the history of ovulation induction treatments, those who had had a higher rate of recurrence of LUF, but not statistically significant (P>0.05). ⑤Compared to those who had polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) or didn’t have any primary diseases, those who had Endometriosis(EMS) would lead to LUFS much more easier, which is statistically significant (PConclusion:①Respectively combined tonifying kidney and inducing ovulation decoction, Xuefu-Zhuyu oral liquid with HCG in their controlled ovarian stimulation could effectively improve the ovulation rate. The results were better than using HCG only. ②Tonifying kidney and inducing ovulation decoction might be more helpful to improve the clinical pregnancy rate in LUFS patients. ③The method of promoting flow of qi and blood circulation could effectively help ovulating, and if tonifying kidney as well might be better for pregnancy. ④To those who had EMS, we might treat their primary disease before ovulation induction. Meanwhile, we should make early treatment during their controlled ovarian stimulation, so as to effectively prevent LUFS. |
