Research Of Clinical Epidemiological On Susceptible Constitution And Correlative Factor Of Pathogeny About Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Patients With Acne

Objective:By analyzing the constitution and related factors of acne pa tients with Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)and comparing with non-acne patients with PCOS in physical distribution,hormone levels, dietary habit s, this study found the characteristic of the former's constitution and the effects of diet and mental factors on them. From the way adjusting th e constitution, this study put forward a new method in the prevention, di agnosis and treat of PCOS with acne.Methods:In clinical research,266 patients with PCOS were distributed into two groups,which were the acne group,acne patients with PCOS(154 ca ses),and the non-acne group,non-acne patients with PCOS(112cases).The method of questionnaire survey was adopted, and the constitution types an d general situation of all patients were evaluated statistically.It was t hrough comparing the two groups in physical type,hormone levels,diet etc that analyzed physical features of acne group and influences on it by rel ated factors.Results:(1)The composition of the distribution of the Chinese constitution t ypes between the two groups were significantly different(P<0.05).Acne p atients was given priority to constitution heat(25.3%),followed by constitutions of qi stagnation(20.1%).Non-acne patients was given priority to constitutions of Yang deficiency(36.6%),followed by phlegmatic const itutions(22.3%).(2)The testosterone level of acne group with PCOS patients was signi ficantly higher than the non-acne group(P<0.05).The level of LH,FSH,LH/FSH between the two groups had no difference(P>0.05).(3)The diet between two groups of patients have difference(P<0.05).Acne patients have obvious compulsive eating,acrid food patients accounte d for 48.7%,accounted for 31.8% of patients to eat fatness food.(4)Different common clinical manifestations had different physical d istribution.Menstrual disorder was mostly Yang deficiency(24%) and qi s tagnation(18%);infertility was mainly Yang deficiency(34%)and phlegm atic(25%);obesity was almost phlegmatic(29%)and Yang deficiency(23%);hairy was Yang deficiency(23%).(5)Mental factors could significantly increase the number of acne pa tients with PCOS in qi stagnation(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)The constitution of traditional Chinese medicine in a cne patients with PCOS is mainly dampness and heat and qi stagnation.(2)The level of T in acne group is higher than that in non-acne group.(3)T he dietary habits of acne group are mainly spicy and fastness food.(4)M ental factors have influences on the constitution of acne patients with P COS.(5)Adjusting the constitution of traditional Chinese medicine in pa tients with PCOS has important clinical significance in preventing the oc currence of acne,and can provide a new thought in the treatment of acne w ith PCOS.
