| Objective:1.To test for the curative effects by comparing the effcts on relieving degree of pain, Karnofsky of the breast cancer patients with bone metastases in the state of kidney deficient in group of Decoction for tonifying the kidney (Yishen Decoction) and that combining with zoledronate.2.To observe the effects of Yishen Decoction combining with zoledronate on the serum TGF-β1of the patients with bone metastases in the state of kidney deficient, in order to explore the action mechanism of Yishen Decoction for therapying the bone metastasis.Methods:Selecting 60 cases of breast cancer patients with bone metastases in the state of kidney deficient who met diagnostic criteria.All cases were randomly divided in to the treatment group (30 cases)and the control group (30 cases).The treatment group were orally given 1 dose Yishen Decoction,twice daily(moring and evening).At the same time,they were given by 4 mg of zoledronate,added to 100ml of 0.9% NS,once in 4 weeks with the duration of 15-30 min,a total of 3 times.While the control group were treated only byzoledronate.Determining the efficacy after 12 weeks. Collecting the serum sample of patients before and after treatment.Detect the TGF-β1of serum sample by ELISA in two groups.Observe the change on relieving degree of pain, index of life quality(Karnofsky) and Bone metastases to verify the curative effects.Carry out the statistical analysis of experiment result.Results:There was no obvious differences on age,pain degree KPS and serum TGF-β1before treatment between the treatment group and the control group. The serum TGF-β1were decreased dramatically after treatment both in two groups,while there was a significant difference (P<0.05) between the treatment group and the control group (P<0.05) after the statistical analysis.There also was a significant difference on relieving degree of pain and index of life quality(Karnofsky)between two groups.The effective rate reached 70% in treatment group,which was 43.3% in control group combining the Imaging examination before and after treatment between two groups.However,there was a difference (P<0.05) after the statistical analysis.Conclusion:1.Yishen Decoction combining with zoledronate can down-regulate the serum TGF-β1of patients the breast cancer patients with bone metastases in the state of kidney deficient,restrain osteolysis effect of osteoclasts,thus it can inhibition Bone destruction.2.Yishen Decoction combining with zoledronate has advantages on relieving degree of pain, improving Karnofsky and improving quality of life. |
