Correlation Between Levels Of Plasma Hcy And Myocardial Fibrosis In Hypertensive Patients

ObjectiveHypertension Can cause myocardial fibrosis,and increased myocardial fibrosis is one of the most important risk factors for cardiovascular disease morbidity and mortality.In our country,seventy percent of hypertensive are with Hyperhomocystinemia.There is the possibility of an association between the levels of plasma Hcy and Myocardial Fibrosis in Hypertensive Patients.This study is to explore the association between the levels of plasma Hcy and Myocardial Fibrosis in Hypertensivel Patients for preliminary research and analysis,to provide theory basis that for intervening hyperhomocysteinemia,can delay even reverse Myocardial Fibrosis. MethodsEssential the mild to moderate hypertension patients 100 cases who hospitalized in the department of hypertension of the People’s Hospital of Qinghai Province from March 2014 to January 2016,male or female,aged less than 55 years old,average aged 47.10±4.53.Test blood pressure、homocysteine and four parameters of fibrosis factors(pro-collagenⅢ、collagenⅣ、Hyaluronic acid、laminin).Determine their total cholesterol、high-density lipoprotein、low-density lipoprotein、uric acid and the indexes of acoustic densitometry by echocar-diography(AII、PPI).According to the homocysteine levels,all of the patients were split into hyperhomocysteinemia group(treatment group) and normal homocysteine group(control group).The treatment group 70 cases,male 44 cases,female 36 cases,aged less than 50 years old, average aged 47.57±4.14,control group 30 cases,male 26 cases,female 14 cases,aged less than 50 years old, average aged 46.00±5.24.There were no statistical significance differences between two groups of age and sex. ResultsThere were no statistical significance differences between two groups of the indexes of total cholesterol、high-density lipoprotein、low-density lipoprotein、uric acid(P>0.05).The indexes of two groups of patients with the pro-collagenⅢ、collagenⅣ、laminin and Hyaluronic acid,the hyperhomocysteinemia group was higher than the normal homocysteine group,the differences between the groups were significant.(P<0.05).The indexes of two groups of patients with the indexes of acoustic densitometry,the AII in hyperhomocysteinemia group was higher than the normal homocysteine group,the PPI was less than the normal homocysteine group, the differences between the groups were significant.(P<0.05).The Hcy in plasma is related to the pro-collagenⅢ、laminin and Hyaluronic acid. ConclusionsThe relations between homocysteine and myocardial fibrosis is positively associated.Apart from others confirmed cause myocardial fibrosis,homocysteine become the new risk factor for myocardial fibrosis.
