Objective: To assess the function of Sodium hyaluronate in anti-scarring and eye poisoning after filtering surgery by comparing intraocular pressure, filter ing bleb morphology, histopathology. For the treatment of glaucoma surgery scar clinically providing a new idea. Methods: Using 30 adult New Zealand white rabbits(60 eyes) as models. They were randomly divided into groups A,B,C. To manufacture the Glau coma filtering surgery. Among them, Group A is provided wherein sodium hyaluronate in the experimental group, Group B is set to mitomycin group, Group C is set to the control group. The models in rabbit eyes IOP were o bserved after glaucoma filtering surgery of 1,3,7,14, 28 days, and there infla mmation, anterior chamber depth and pathological specimens, Respectively H E staining, Masson staining, TGF-β1 Immunohistochemistry staining after filt ration area hyperplasia tissue fibers. The results were tested by SPSS18.0 sta tistics software, P<0.05 as a significant standard.Result: 1.All experiments rabbit before surgery’s baseline IOP was 13.33 mm Hg. The experimental group sodium hyaluronate average IOP during 14-28 days is 10.50 mm Hg. MMC on the control group mean IOP late 14-28 days is 10.25 mm Hg. The Blank control group average IOP during 14-28 days is 11.89 mm Hg. 2.Pathological Show sodium Hyaluronate group and Mitomycin group are or ganized under the loose conjunctiva. See larger clearance between the fiber bundles, and fewer fibroblasts, arranged very neatly. Under the control group conjunctiva are filled with thick fibrous tissue, Obstruction caused by filtrat ion, they are much more, and disorganized. 3.Sodium hyaluronate group, postoperative inflammation and the number of conjunctival hyperemia less than the number of cases mitomycin group appe ars. Conclusion:Sodium hyaluronate scarring in glaucoma surgery applications, the IOP decrease compared with the blank control group was large, and less scarring. It can inhibit the filtration channel to hyperplasia of fibroblasts an d inflammatory reaction than the mitomycin group of small, light stimulation of the eyes.
