Cost-Benefit Analysis On Large-Scale Medical Equipments

With the continuous development of people’s living standard,people are more and more health-conscious.The medical equipment,which plays a very important role in the hospital,is accelerating medical technical progress.As the material basis which ensures the common medical activities,large-scale medical equipment can not only produce great economic benefits,but also can promote the popularity of the hospital,so that the hospital can get better developing chance in the increasingly fierce competition of the medical market.The enormous benefits large medical equipment brought for the hospital however,often makes the hospitals place undue emphasis on some advanced medical equipments with new technology,high configuration and multifunction,ignoring whether the advanced medical equipment can be fully used,whether the equipment will bring economical and social benefits or waste of resources.In order to enhance the economic benefit,on guidance of management as well as financial principles,this paper will discuss how to analysis equipments’ cost-effective scientifically and then how to use the analysis data to make hospital work better during medical equipments’ purchase,using,management,maintenance and scrapping.Based on the above study,this article analyzed the cost-effective of Shanxi A Hospital’s large-scale medical equipmens.And put forward specific measures to introduce new large-scale medical equipment.The writer pointed out that allocation of large-scale medical equipment should be in line with the hospital’s actual situation.At the same time,social benefit is as important as economic benefit.
