Purpose:To explore the influence of yang-warming and fluid retention-resolving therapy on expression of the content of fibrinogen,interleukin-8 in rats with pleural effusion.Methods:Using the digitally random methods to divides the adult Wistar rats into four groups after adaptive feeding a week, blank group, model group, the yang-warming and fluid retention-resolving group and wiping off the cassia twig fluid retention-resolving group, each group with ten rats(five male and five female per group). Injecting 1% carrageenan into pleura to establish the model of pleural effusion. After the model was established for 24h, model rats were subjected to imaging recognization by radiography. At 2h after the model was established, Firstly, according to the 12g/kg . d human equivalent dose,① The W group to give the yang-warming and fluid retention-resolving liquor by gavage every day for three days. Secondly, according to the 10g/kg. d human equivalent dose,② The Q group to give the wiping off the cassia twig fluid retention-resolving liquor as the W group. Third, ③The model group and blank group are given with the same rearing condition and not any medicine.All rats were sacrificed on the third day after the molding was established, collecting the blood,pleural effusion. Using enzme-linked immune sorbent assay(ELISA) determination to measuring the content of fibrinogen in the flood serum and the content of IL-8 in the blood serum and pleural effusion. Observing the pleural adhesions and the volume, color,quality of pleural effusion.The quantitative data was statistical analysis by SPSS 19.0.Results:(1)The volume of pleural effusion of the blank control group was lower than other three groups(P< 0.05).Compared with the model group, the volume of pleural effusion of the warming yang group and the wipe off the cassia twig fluid retention-resolving group to was lower (P<0.05). there was no difference between the yang-warming and fluid retention-resolving therapy group(P>0.05).(2)Comparing with the blank group, the content of the Fibrinogen in model group are increased significantly, there was a significantly difference (P< 0.05). Comparing with the model group,the content of the Fibrinogen in plasma was decreased significantly with a significantly difference(P< 0.05).there was no difference between the yang-warming and fluid retention-resolving therapy group, the wipe off the cassia twig fluid retention-resolving group (P>0.05).(3)Comparing with the blank group, the content of the IL-8 in model group are increased significantly, there was a significantly difference (P< 0.05). Comparing with the model group,the content of the IL-8 in plasma was decreased significantly with a significantly difference(P< 0.05). there was no difference between the yang-warming and fluid retention-resolving therapy group, the wipe off the cassia twig fluid retention-resolving group (P>0.05).(4)Pleural adhesions:There was no adhesion of the pleural space in the blank group, there was different degree pleural thickening with adhesion in model group,the yang-warming and fluid retention-resolving therapy group, the wipe off the cassia twig fluid retention-resolving group.Conclusion:(1)Influence of yang-warming and fluid retention-resolving therapy can reduce the content of fibrinogen,interleukin-8 in Rats.(2)Influence of yang-warming and fluid retention-resolving therapy can reduce the volume of pleural effusion in Rats.(3)there was no difference between the yang-warming and fluid retention-resolving therapy group, the wipe off the cassia twig fluid retention-resolving group in the content of the Fibrinogen and IL-8 (P> 0.05). There was no significant difference in the elimination of pleural effusion (P>0.05). This may be related to the three days of intervention time did not establish the model of Spleen Yang deficiency.
