data, coping style, anxiety and depression and social support on life quality and to investigate the influencing factors related to their life quality in order to provide theoretical evidence for improving the life quality in patients which is of great significance in improvinglife quality in patients with leukemia.MethodsA total of 294 Leukemia patients admitted during April 2016-July 2016 from four top three hospitals in Jinan,Shandong who metinclusion criteria were recruited by convenient sampling method and were investigated with demography questionnaire, hospitalanxiety anddepression scale, medical coping modes questionnaire, quality of life questionnaires-core 30 and social support revalued scale.SPSS20.0 statistical software was used to conduct statistical analysis, including descriptive analysis,t test/analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis, multivariate stepwise regression.Results1.A total of 300 study questionnaires were distributed and all were recovered。There were 294valid questionnaires, and the effective rate was 98%.2.The overall health level in patients with acute leukemia was 64.14 ±27.28,which was significantly lower than that of Norwegian norm; The items with the highest scores were cognitive function in functional domain, fatigue in symptom domain andfinancial difficulties in single item, and the scores were 80.68±21.70,40.27±24.72,63.26±36.75,respectively.3.The anxiety and the depression score were at a lower level, which were 7.01 ±4.35,5.78±4.48,respectively.4.The total score of coping style in acute leukemia patients was 46.34±4.97,the score of facing was 20.43±4.06,avoidancewasl7.40±2.70,yielding was 8.52±2.84.The scores of facing and avoidance were both significantly higher than those of the norm except the yielding coping.5.In the social support scores of acute leukemia patients, the total score of social support was 38.97±8.35,which was significantly higher than Xiao shuiyuan’s social support norm.Theobjective and the subjective support score were9.94±3.82,21.85±5.26,respectively.The support utilizationwas 7.14±1.92.6.Univariate analysis indicated that there were many factors affecting the life quality in patients with acute leukemia.Disease course, maj or caregivers, hospitalization times and whether or not have children, which were a significant difference in the overall health level(P<0.05);no significance was foundinother variables regarding overall health level(P>0.05).7.Pearson correlation analysis showed that anxiety and depression were significantly negatively correlated to the overall health and thefunctional dimension in the patients and positively correlated to the symptom dimension;Avoidance coping was positively correlated to the overall health of the patients, there was a significant negative correlation between yielding coping and general health and the functional dimension; The objective support and the overall health level of the patients were positively correlated to the majority of the functional areas, negatively correlatedto most symptom domains, the utilization of support was positively correlated to the overall health and emotional function,The total social support was positively correlated to the overall health level and the majority of functional areas, there was no correlation between subjective support and lifequality.8.Multivariate linear regression analysis indicated that the life qualityin patients with acute leukemia was influenced by many factors, different demographic data and disease related characteristics had different degrees of influence on the life quality in patients with acute leukemia, anxiety, depression, coping style and social support had some influence on the lifequality in patients with acute leukemia.Conclusion1.The quality of lifein patients with acute leukemia was at a low level.Improving the clinical symptoms ofpatients, which was significant to improvethelife qualityof patients.2.Anxiety and depression of acute leukemia patients were significantly negatively correlated with the overall health level and functional dimensions and there was an obvious positive correlation with other fields.Reducing the level of anxiety and depression was help to improve the quality of life in patients with leukemia.3.Avoidance coping as a positive coping style played an important role in the overall health of patients.According to the specific circumstances of patients, medical staff can help patients to establish a healthy coping style to improve thelife quality of patients.4.The score of social support was higher in patients with acute leukemia.Improving the social support of patients can help to improve the quality of life of patients. | |
