Correlation Between The VTQ Of Liver And Spleen And Staging Of Hepatitis B Liver Fibrosis

Objectives:Analysis correlation between the virtual touch tissue quantification(virtual touch tissue quantification,VTQ)of liver and spleen and the staging of liver fibrosis in hepatitis B,study in the feasibility of the VTQ of liver and spleen for noninvasive assessment of liver fibrosis in staging of hepatitis B.Method:Using the acoustic radiation force impulse imaging(acoustic radiation force impulse imaging,ARFI)of Siemens Acuson S2000 Color Doppler ultrasound system technology on 56 cases with B type hepatitis patients,measuring the VTQ of liver,the VTQ of spleen,the left and right lobes of the lier,the thickness and length of spleen and related data of blood flow,doing liver biopsy,and analysising by liver fiber of staging(SO period,and S1 period,and S2 period,and S3 period,and S4 period)which is divided into 5 group,using comparison between groups,and Pearson correlation analysis,and receiver operating characteristic curve.Results:There were significant differences in VTQ of liver and spleen,spleen thickness and splenic artery RI between different stages of liver fibrosis,and the result was increased with the increase of liver fibrosis staging.The correlation coefficients of the VTQ of liver and spleen and liver fibrosis staging were 0.76(P<0.05),0.83(P<0.05);The correlation coefficient between the liver VTQ and spleen VTQ was 0.68(P<0.05);The correlation coefficient between spleen thickness and staging of liver fibrosis was 0.53(P<0.05);The correlation coefficient between spleen artery resistance index and staging of liver fibrosis was 0.38(P<0.05).When the cutoff VTQ of the liver was 1.57m/s and 1.79m/s,the sensitivity of diagnosis of liver fibrosis in S3 and S4 was 91.7%,100%,the specificity were 61.4%,81.8%;when the cutoff VTQ of the spleen was 2.78m/s,the sensitivity and the specificity of diagnosis of liver fibrosis in S3 and S4 was 100%.81.8%.Conclusion:The VTQ of liver and spleen measured by ARFI technique had a good value in noninvasive evaluation of hepatitis B fibrosis staging.
