Objective:Based on somatosensory evoked potentials(SEP),using the modern scientific and technological instruments to stimulate the upper quadriceps of the upper quadrant and to test its SEP,observing and analyzing the characteristics of different people on nerve conduction, exploring the relationship between the parameters of men and women in somatosensory evoked potentials,we are in an attempt to apply it to clinical diagnosis and medical treatment. It is believed that it will provide some help to diagnosis and clinical treatment, which in return will also have a certain positive influence on traditional medicine.Method:The laboratory temperature should be maintained at 25 degrees Celsius with moderate humidity.Except for the inspection equipment, those equipment, devices and mobile phones, etc.that can cause electromagnetic interference, need to be shut down or prohibited to be brought into labs.Examinees need to maintain a quiet and stable state.① The subjects were 160 healthy students from Yanbian University, including 61 males and 99 females, aged between 18 and 24 years old(average age 20.64±1.42 years),and detected somatosensory evoked potential(SEP).② All volunteers filled out a questionnaire according to their actual situation. After that, the volunteers were needed to collect their image information, respectively, the whole body, side images and back images,as well as close-up images with facial features.Through the collection of these questionnaires,we compared their overall body shape and the head-and-face images, and then led by a number of experts with much clinical experiences, combined with various ways to collect the information, carrying out the classification of sasang constitutional human body types.③The somatosensory evoked potentials of the volunteers were detected by the measuring application of somatosensory evoked potential, which is the electromyography evoked potential instrument-sea shark-NDI-092(Shanghai Poseidon Medical Electronic Instrument Co.,Ltd.).When carrying out the experiment, all the volunteers were refreshing their spirits by closing their eyes, relaxing their whole body, and lying on the side of the bed with calm mind. The SEP of 160 volunteers was detected by electrical stimulation from the right and left direction of their median nerves.④When detecting the SEP of median nerve,we had to record the beginning of the stimulus, and the conduction time, waveform and amplitude when the stimulus was conducted into each induced component.⑤Then we made the comparison of the Somatosensory Evoked Potential waves Parameters of Men and Women among and in the Sasang groups.⑥ Finally,we sorted out, collected, and analyzed the above data, and explored the correlation between the internal environment and nerve conduction function caused by different organs of various sasang constitutional human body.Results:① Among the 160 volunteers, there were 94 lunar people accounting for 58.8%,39 Shaoyang people accounting for 24.4%,25 Shaoyin people accounting for 15.6%and 2 sun people accounting for 1.3%.Among the Four-Xiang group, lunar people were obviously overweighting Shaoyang people in terms of weight(P<0.05),but with no significant differences in age and height(P>0.05).②There were no significant differences in the incubation of the left and right body N13 wave(N130nset,hereinafter referred to as N13a),the crest of the N13 wave(N13Peak,hereinafter referred to as N13b),and the end time of the N13 wave(N13End,hereinafter referred to as N13c)among the lunar people,Shaoyang people and Shaoyin people(P>0.05).③The incubation of the right body N20 wave(N200nset,hereinafter referred to as N20a),the crest of the N20 wave(N20peak,hereinafter referred to as N20b),and the end time of the N20 wave(N20End,hereinafter referred to as N20c)of the lunar people were longer than the Shaoyang people, and the differences here were statistically significant(P<0.05).④The interval period of the incubation of the right body N13 wave and N20 wave(N13 Onset-N20 Onset, hereinafter referred to as N13a-N20a),and the interval period of the crest(N13 Peak-N20 Peak, hereinafter referred to as N13b-N20b)of the lunar people were longer than the Shaoyang people and Shaoyin people, and the differences here were statistically significant(O<0.05).⑤In the group of Shaoyang people, the crest of the female left body of the N13 wave(N13Peak,hereinafter referred to as N13b)and N13b-N20b were longer than male, and the differences here were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The general situation of the Four-Xiang people:the lunar people weigh more than the Shaoyang people significantly(P<0.05).2.The N20 wave:theN20a,N20b and N20c of the lunar people were prolonged than the Shaoyang people(P<0.05).The N20b,N20c of the lunar people were longer than the Shaoying people(P<0.05).Left body:the N20c of the lunar people was longer than the Shaoyin people(P<0.01).3,The N13-N20 wave:Right body:the N13a-N20a and N13b-N20b of the lunar people were prolonged than the Shaoyang people and the Shaoyin people(P<0.05);Left body:the N13b-N20b of the lunar people was prolonged than the Shaoyin people(P<0.05).4.In the group of the Shaoyang people, the N13b、N13b-N20b of the female left body were longer than the male(P<0.05).5.The lunar people’ s body is turbid in blood and astringent in Qi,and they usually are fond of greasy, sweet, taste heavy food. Also, they like to be quiet and do not love sports in the character, resulting in the state of blood in which the blood does not run smoothly in the body like others. So in the aspect of nerve conduction, the somatosensory evoked potential parameters of each wave are prolonged than other physical properties.6.There are more yang and less yin in the body of the Shaoyang people, and they like to move rather to be quiet.Upon this basis, there are more ying in female body than male body, and women exercise less than men.So the qi-blood circulation in the body runs relatively slower, and the somatosensory evoked potential parameters of each wave are prolonged than male in the aspect of nerve conduction. Also, this phenomenon is more obvious in the Shaoyang people than other physical properties.
