Research On The Application Value Of Dialectical Treatment Of Chinese Medicine In Hospitalized Patients With Bronchial Asthma

Research background:Asthma is an airway chronic inflammatory disease participated by a variety of cells including airway inflammatory cells(such as eosinophils,mast cells,T lymphocytes,neutrophils)and structural cells(such as smooth muscle cells,airway epithelial cells,etc.)and cell components.Chronic inflammation leads to airway hyperresponsiveness,which usually manifested as reversible airflow limitation,and causing recurrent wheezing,shortness of breath,chest tightness or cough and other symptoms.The symptoms often occur or become more serious at night and early morning.The majority of patients can self-mitigate or be relieved by treatment.Bronchial asthma attack seriously affect the patient’s work,study and life.Critically ill patients often need hospitalization.It has Resulted in a certain social,economic and living burden and become an important public health problem.Chinese medicine in the treatment of the disease has accumulated a wealth of experience and the effect is significant.It not only can alleviate the symptoms of attack,but also can achieve the effect of controlling the relapse by supporting the strength.For Asthma hospitalized patients,the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine treatment is conclusive.But the treatment whether can shorten the hospital stay,speed up the withdrawal of hormones and reduce the amount of hormones lacks of systematic evaluation.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the value of TCM syndrome differentiation therapy in hospitalized asthma patients.Research purposes:By observing and analyzing patients with bronchial asthma during hospitalization related Chinese and Western medicine treatment program,hospitalization time,symptom improvement and the withdrawal of hormones,We try to explore the advantages and values of dialectical treatment of Chinese medicine.We except to provide research basis for establishing a standardized and effective dialectical treatment of Chinese medicine combined with basic Western medicine treatment program.Research methods:60 patients with bronchial asthma attack are divided into two groups.The patients are treated with western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine.The efficacy of each group is evaluated by observing the following items:asthma control time,length of stay,the asthma control test score(ACT score)at admission and 4 weeks after discharge,the clinical symptoms and signs points at admission,admission on the 7th day(or discharge)and discharge,as well as glucocorticoid dose,withdrawal time,and use time.Through the statistical methods,we compare the two groups of patients treated by Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine combined with basic Western medicine.Research results:There is no significant difference in gender,age and course of disease between the two groups.There is significant difference in the control time and hospitalization time of asthma between the two groups.There is no significant differences in the scores of symptoms and signs at admission and the ACT score at admission between the two groups.There are statistically significant differences in the scores of symptoms and signs at the 7th day of admission(or discharge)and discharge,and the ACT score at 4 weeks after discharge between the two groups.There is significant difference in glucocorticoid dose and withdrawal time between the two groups.Research conclusion:Traditional Chinese medicine combined with Western medicine treatment of hospitalized patients with bronchial asthma attack,compared with simple Western medicine treatment,have an advantage of improving patient symptoms,shortening the hospital stay,speeding up hormone withdrawal,and reducing the side effects of glucocorticoid.The application of dialectical treatment of Chinese medicine on hospitalized patients with bronchial asthma attack is of great value.
