ObjectiveThrough monitoring continue to understand the maternal mortality and dynamic changes and distribution characteristics of the cause of death from 2011 to 2015 in Jilin province,and to explore the causes of maternal mortality.According to the distribution of the cause of death in different areas of Jilin Province,further put forward the intervention strategy of reducing the maternal mortality,for health administrative departments at all levels to improve maternal health care services to provide reliable basis.MethodsThis study collected the relevant information through the three-level maternal and child health network in Jilin Province,County,municipalities(state)level,provincial health department,Quarterly organization related discipline evaluation experts to carry out the maternal death review,form a review conclusion,feedback review results.This study collected a total of 176 cases of maternal deaths in Jilin Province from 2011 to 2015,While collecting the number of live births in the same period in Jilin Province and different regions.Arranging the collected data and related reports,report card,Using Excel software to build the database and descriptive statistical analysis.Main adoption rate and the proportion of statistical description.Results1.From 2011 to 2015,the maternal mortality rate in Jilin province was 17.02/100000,16.97/100000,17.71/100000,25.73/100000,16.72/100000,the maternal mortality rate tends to be stable.2.From 2011 to 2015,rural average maternal mortality ratio(19.5/100000)Was higher than the average urban maternal mortality ratio(17.9/100000)in Jilin province.Five years of death maternal age concentrated in the 25-29 age group,accounting for 35.8%.Five years more junior middle school culture level of maternal death,accounting for 55.7%,followed by primary school and below,25.6%.Primipara more than multipara,accounted for 51.7%.Maternal death in late pregnancy is more,accounted for 63.6%.Maternal death more cesarean delivery,accounted for 66.4%.Five years of maternal births in 116 cases,delivery sites for the provincial(city)hospitals more,accounting for 58.6%,the place of death for the provincial(city)hospitals more,accounting for 58.0%.3.From 2011 to 2015,indirect obstetric death is more,accounting for 53.4%.Maternal death in Jilin province Maternal death rank ranked the top four is obstetric hemorrhage,accounted for 22.7%,followed by pulmonary embolism,accounted for 9.7%,gestational hypertension disease,accounting for6.8%,pneumonia,accounting for 5.7%.Avoidable deaths is more in 176 cases of maternal death during the five years,accounting for 51.7%.Conclusion1.Maternal mortality tend to be stable in Jilin province from 2011 to 2015,basically lower than the national average rate of maternal mortality.2.Maternal mortality of each city(state)in Jilin Province changed year by year.Maternal mortality is better in Changchun and Jilin,maternal mortality is relatively high in Siping,Baicheng and Songyuan.3.Maternal death in Jilin Province from 2011 to 2015 is more in the rural areas,25-29 age group,junior high school and below the primary level of education,primiparae.Death occurred in late pregnancy,to cesarean section delivery,the place of childbirth and death for the provincial(city)level hospitals is more.4.The indirect obstetric death is the main death constitutes of maternal death from 2011 to 2015,obstetric bleeding is the main cause of maternal death during the five years.The top four causes of Maternal death in Jilin Province is obstetric bleeding,pulmonary embolism,hypertensive disorder of pregnancy,pneumonia.5.There were 176 cases of Maternal death in Jilin Province from 2011 to 2015.According to the results of the provincial review,51.7% of the maternal deaths were able to avoid death,prompting the urgent need to further improve the quality of health care and medical technology of maternal and child health in our province.
