Objective: To investigate the relationship between volume and survival of 125I radioactive particles guided by ultrasound ultrasound in the treatment of pancreatic precancerous tumors.Method: By collecting 13 patients with stage IV pancreatic cancer who underwent 125I radioactive particle implantation from September 2011 to May 2016,including 11 males and 8 females.Aged 45 to 83 years old.The average age is 63 years old.According to pancreatic cancer TNM stage Ⅳ 20 cases,of which there are 10 cases of liver metastases,9 cases of intraperitoneal metastasis. All cases underwent pancreatic CT scan, according to the imaging data and TPS system to calculate the tumor volume. All patients underwent ultrasound-guided radioactive particle implantation under preoperative TPS.Anesthesia were intravenous inhalation combined anesthesia.Intraoperative ultrasound guided by the puncture needle through the body surface puncture and to avoid the blood vessels and important tissue 125I radioactive particles implanted in the tumor.Postoperative review of CT examination of radioactive particles in the tumor to achieve a satisfactory distribution, and close observation ofpatients with or without complications and pain relief. All patients were followed up and the survival time was recorded. Results: Preoperative statistics in 19 cases of pancreatic cancer cases, the tumor is located in the pancreas for 10 cases, located in the pancreatic body in 7 cases, located in the pancreatic tail for 2 cases.Statistics of tumor volume ranging from 1.86 cm3 to 90.45 cm3,survival from 3 months to 12 months range. The clinical data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 statistical software.Statistical results with P <0.01 as a statistically significant standard. The statistical results were significantly correlated with P at 0.01 level. Conclusion: The size of pancreatic cancer is an important factor affecting the prognosis of pancreatic cancer patients,125I radioactive particles before implantation of pancreatic cancer tumor size and survival of patients was negatively correlated.
