ObjectiveTo evaluate the anxiety status of HPV carriers and its relevant factors in order to locateHPV carriers with high risk factors for anxiety.To carry out targeted psychological intervention for them,and thus provide guidance for clinical treatment and psychological counseling.MethodsUsing Zung’s anxiety self-rating scale(SAS)and the self-made patient general information questionnaire,100 HPV-positive gynecological outpatients who were treated in Shandong Qianfoshan Hospital from Jun.2016 to Feb.2017were interviewed.Meanwhile 200 HPV-negative health women who took gynecological examination in the health examination center in Shandong Qianfoshan Hospital in the same period were randomly chosen to fill Zung’s anxiety self-rating scale.By analyzing the data using SPSS 18.0 software,the anxiety status of HPV carriers and its related factors are investigated.According to the types of data,t test,F test,χ2 test,Logistic regressionanalysis are used in the research.Results1.The averageSAS score of HPV carriers in this study(43.71±10.28393)was higher than that of the control group(35.24±7.63426),both of which were much higher than that of normal standard of the whole nation(29.78 ± 0.46).2.The incidence of anxiety in HPV carriers was 26.0%,higher than the anxiety rate in the control group(7.0%).3.The main factors associated with HPV carriers’ anxiety include:the duration of HPV infection,HPV type,occupation,belief,family income status and expenses incurred in curing HPV.4.Results of Logistic regression analysis indicated that high-risk HPV infection,low-income,over 3000 RMB spent in the treatment of HPV,no health insurance,were the risk factors of anxiety of HPV carriers.5.48%of HPV carriers claimed that their sexual life was affectedmainly expressed as:decreased sexual satisfaction,reduced frequency of sexual life and fear or disgust for sexual life.Conclusion1.HPV infection causes or aggravates patients’ anxiety.2.Factors that affect the anxiety status of HPV carriers are extensive.3.HPV infection has a negative impact on the patient’s sexual life.4.HPV carriers are short of knowledge related to HPV,resulting in bad impact on the patient’s physical and mental health and family life.5.Clinicians should pay more attention to mental health problems of HPV carriers,teaching them basic knowledge of HPV and giving psychological interventions.Screen and treat HPV infection according to guidelines. |
