BackgroundCerebral palsy(CP)is a kind of non progressive brain injury syndrome caused by various reasons, which brings heavy burden to family and society.A large number of studies have confirmed that the effect of early intervention on children with cerebral palsy(rehabilitation)is positive. At present, multimodal magnetic resonance imaging technology has been widely used in many fields. However, there are no reports on the application of multimodal magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in children with cerebral palsy.ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical value of magnetic resonance imaging in children with cerebral palsy(CP).Methods50 children with cerebral palsy were selected as the experimental group(group A),of which there were male and female, with a mean age of 0~6 months(range, months),mainly in neonates with hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy(HIE).Selected 50 cases of normal newborns as control group(B group),male 27 cases, female 23 cases, the control group included: no neonatal perinatal asphyxia and fetal distress, after the birth of 1min,7min and Apgar scores were more than 8 points;no central nervous system infection and deformity;no significant metabolic disorders and chromosome no symptoms of disease;nervous system diseases.A group and B group underwent conventional MRI sequences(T1WI、T2WI)and multi modality functional magnetic resonance imaging(MRS,DTI,SWI),the two groups were treated with MRS and DTI scan, and compare the two groups of images, determination of two groups of choline(Cho),N-acetyl aspartic acid(NAA),creatine compounds(Cr),lactic acid(LAC)and inositol(ml)and other metabolites, and compared with conventional SWI;sequence of brain parenchyma, ventricles and subarachnoid and subdural hemorrhage detection number of comparative analysis;difference of effective rate compared with conventional MRI and multi-mode magnetic resonance imaging of the brain in different regions of interest sensitivity and multimodal magnetic resonance imaging examination of children with cerebral palsy have no statistical significance, the t test and X2 test analysis.ResultsCompared to the conventional magnetic resonance imaging, multi modality magnetic resonance imaging in children with relatively high sensitivity in different brain regions;SWI sequence and conventional MR for intracranial hemorrhage detected the number of statistics, showing that SWI brain bleeding diagnosis is better than conventional MRI;DTI and conventional MRI detection through our research found the control group showed no abnormal signal of DTI;while in the experimental group, using DTI sequence detected lesions in 43 cases, the diagnostic accuracy rate was 86%;the common MRI sequence detected 21 cases, accounting for 42%,the accuracy rate of diagnosis showed that DTI was significantly higher than that of conventional MR,the difference was statistically significant,P<0.05;NAA/Cr in the observation group than in the control group Cho/Cr,Lac/Cr and ml/Cr,and higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant,P<0.05.ConclusionSWI combined with conventional sequence can improve the diagnosis of neonatal intracranial hemorrhage;clinical application of DTI HIE in early detection of the lesions and the number of effective display range, while the MRS is a noninvasive measurement of metabolites produced in children with brain hypoxia and ischemia in the process, the combination of the three can improve the accuracy of clinical diagnosis in children and provide value for prognosis evaluation.ObjectiveTo study the application value of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in the rehabilitation therapy of children with cerebral palsy.MethodsSixty-five children with cerebral palsy admitted in our hospital between December2015 and May 2016 were studied. All the subjects underwent MRI multi-sequence scanning. With the rehabilitation degree of children with cerebral palsy after rehabilitation therapy as the reference standard, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, accuracy and Kappa value of MRI examination were calculated.ResultsThe sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value, accuracy and Kappa value of MRI examination were 87.9%,93.75%,93.5%,88.2%,90.8% and 0.82 respectively.ConclusionThere is certain correlation between the relief of lesions and the rehabilitation degree of children with cerebral palsy.MRI multi-sequence scan is of great value in diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of prognosis.
