Diagnostic Value Of CA125 In Peritoneal Metastasis Of Gastric Cancer | | Posted on:2018-05-20 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:J L Jiang | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2334330518962323 | Subject:Gastrointestinal Surgery | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of serum CA125 in peritoneal metastasis of gastric cancer.Methods:Clinical data of 200 patients diagnosed with gastric cancer who were admitted to our department of gastroenterology in the second affiliated hospital of Nanchang university from January 2016 to October 2016 were retrospectively reviewed.The sensitivity,specificity and accuracy of serum CA125 for peritoneal metastasis were analyzed.Clinicopathological characteristics were compared between patients with normal serum CA125 level(≤35U/ml)and patients with elevated serum CA125 level(>35U/ml).Results:The specificity,sensitivity and accuracy of serum CA125 for peritoneal metastasis were 96.0%,13.8% and 81.2% respectively.A significantly higher incidence of peritoneal metastasis was observed in the patients with elevated serum CA125 level as compared to those with normal serum CA125 level.CA125 was an independent predictor of peritoneal metastasis.Conclusion:Serum CA125 is a useful biomarker in predicting peritoneal metastasis and prognosis of gastric cancer,which should be used as a routine examination of gastric cancer patients. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Gastric cancer, Tumor marker, Carbohydrate antigen 125, Peritoneal metastasis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
