| BackgroundCerebral palsy(CP)is a group of persistent central movement and postural development disorder, motion limited syndrome, which is caused by brain damage at the time of developing fetus or infant. The movement disorder of CP is often accompanied by feeling, sensory, cognitive, communication and behavioral disorders,as well as epilepsy and secondary musculoskeletal problems. With the increasing of age, movement、posture disorder and cognitive disorder are more and more serious, usually accompanied by lifelong of CP,their quality in life is far lower than that of the normal, the children with CP will also be a heavy burden for their family.Since the concept of cerebral palsy formatted, doctors and scientists have been work hard in the depth study of its etiology, but since the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease are complicated, and the clinical characterizes vary a lot.The specific etiology and pathological mechanism are unclear. The current theory is the primary brain injury and brain injury lasted for months to years. That is the so called three-level theory of brain damage mechanism which is sustained chronic inflammation and epigenetic changes. To explore the pathogenesis of brain injury in children with CP,the experiments are carried out by comparing the concentration TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 in the serum of two groups of different age children with CP and that of in normal children. To provide guidance for the treatment of children with cerebral palsy and the improvement of the quality of their life,to explore the concentration of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 will be changed.ObjectiveBy comparing the levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 in serum of children with cerebral palsy(CP)and normal children in different age groups,to explore the correlation study of the IL-6,IL-10 and TNF-α in brain injury of children with cerebral palsy MethodsIn this paper,we use prospective studies,The study population consisted of 50 CP patients and 30 healthy control were from centers of pediatric rehabilitation department in the first affiliated hospital of Xinxiang medical university which were analyzed retrospectively. The 50 cases of CP children were divided into 2 groups, the baby group 6~12(8.4 ± 1.5)month were 25 cases, the child care group 13~36(22.8±6.1)month were 25 cases. The healthy children as a control group of 30 cases, the baby group of age at 6~12(8.2±1.3)month were 15 cases,13~36(23.2 ± 6.2)month age were 15 cases as the child care group. The levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 in the serum were detected by ELISA.Results1.The levels of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 in serum of CP were obvious higher than the corresponding healthy children(P<0.0001).2.The levels of TNF-α and IL-10 in serum of CP were higher than that of control(P <0.0001);the baby group of CP IL-6 is much higher than that of control(P=0.0011);the child care group of CP IL-6 is much higher than that of control(P=0.0002).3.The difference of baby group and child care group with CP had no significant difference(P =0.624)in serum of TNF-α;The difference of baby group and child care group with CP had no significant difference(P =0.571)in serum of IL-6;The difference of baby group and child care group with CP had no significant difference(P =0.572)in serum of IL-10.ConclusionThe expression of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 in CP are higher than that of in control, which means this three cytokines involved the brain damage severer. The difference of baby group and child care group with CP had no significant difference in serum of TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10,which means the sustain expressing of this three cytokines. The sustain expressing of the TNF-α,IL-6 and IL-10 means the brain damage in CP children may keeping on. |
