Objective:This topic builds a database on needling and moxibustion techniques using computer technology,and extract and tidy the data of literature which are screened and entered and using the methods of simple application of Auricular needle therapy to treatment disease by data mining,and summarize Auricular needle therapy’s adaptive species of diseases,application of double-pronged approach,treatment effect and the problem of acupuncture point,discuss the regularities and characteristics of Auricular needle therapy in clinical application,and provide reference and help for clinical.Methods:1 We read a large number of literatures and books taking Auricular needle therapy as the research object,then ascertain the acquisition range of literatures,research and download related literatures of Auricular needle therapy in CNKI(January in 1959 to December in 2015),and ensure the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,read the full article,research and incorporate literatures conform to use the methods of simple application of Auricular needle therapy to treatment disease.2 It can lay the foundation for data mining when we found database platform of Auricular needle therapy according to the regularities of Auricular needle therapy itself and had built database of fire needle and Technique of filiform needle acupuncture and so on,and tidy literatures’ information.Database of literatures record the basic information of name of documents and journals and the details of disease name,departments,the choice of Medicine(Needling instrument),effective and so on.Normalize the information,Formulate unified entry standards.The literatures are preliminary entered which conform to inclusion criteria,then amend incomplete andunscientific items in the database.3 According to formulate unified entry standards,entering the journal articles and academic dissertation conform to use the methods of simple application of Auricular needle therapy to treatment disease one by one.To prevent to appear error in manual entry,we execute strict 3-level auditing system to the inputted information,ensure the accuracy of the data and information.4 Setting Auricular needle therapy’s adaptive species of diseases,application of double-pronged approach,treatment effect and the problem of acupuncture point for research contents,use OLAP technology to extract data and clear up,statistic,analyze,ultimately show to researchers in the form of chart.Results:1 It extracts 1777 groups information of treatment group and the diseases are two hundred and eleven species which involving Internal medicine,Surgery,Gynecology,Pediatrics,Five-sense organs,Dermatology in1724 papers of literatures and theses entered.The frequency of Internal medicine diseases are the most which are 863;others in proper order are Five-sense-organs are 255,Surgery are 199,Gynecology are 195,Dermatology are 174,Pediatrics are 91.The numbers of diseases in proper order are Internal medicine are 72,Five-sense-organs are 36,Surgery are 28,Gynecology are26,Pediatrics are 26,Dermatology are 23;2 The Put pressure is applied the most in all the departments and the general treatment.It can use two or more methods in the treatment progress,there are one thousand seven hundred and nine groups using one method,sixty-seven groups using two methods,one group using three methods;3 The Cured and Marked effective rate is high in the Auricular needle of Internal medicine theory,Surgery,Gynecology,Pediatrics,Dermatology.The Cured and Marked effective rate is relatively high of Bloodletting,Bloodletting-Put Pressure,Injection and Laser irradiation,the Cured and Marked effective rate of other stimulation methods is relatively high in Five-sense organs.The Curedand Marked effective rate of Injection is high in used departments.The gap between Bloodletting and Bloodletting-Put Pressure is small in the same department except Laser irradiation;4 Acupuncture point are designed flat acupuncture,oblique acupuncture,vertical acupuncture,along the skin through acupuncture,not mentioned based on the entry.The literatures are one hundred and sixty-one used method of filiform needle,thereinto not mentioned are one hundred and twenty-two,and mentioned are thirty-nine,vertical acupuncture are twenty-seven,along the skin through acupuncture are six,oblique acupuncture are five,flat acupuncture is one.Conclusion:Auricular needle therapy windly adapt to the diseases applied in all subjects,and the highest frequency is internal disease;Put pressure is the most application in double-pronged approach,and the king seeds are the most application in Put pressure;Auricular needle therapy’s effect is remarkable;there is a wide range of research space of acupuncture point in Auricular needle therapy.
