Objective: To study the safety and efficacy of the enhanced recovery after surgery treatment of advanced gastric cancer with the assistance of laparoscope during the perioperative period.Method: The retrospective case study of the data of 60 cases was conducted,in which the60 patients received treatment of radical operation of gastric cancer with the assistance of laparoscope in the gastrointestinal surgery department of the Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai University from May 2015 to November 2016.The group of the 30 cases with the perioperative-period enhanced recovery after surgery treatment was the experimental group, and the group of the other 30 cases with the traditional perioperative-period treatment was the control group. The safety and efficacy of the two groups were compared from three aspects, respectively pre-operation(gender,age),intraoperation(operation method, operation time, intraoperative blood loss and number of the lymph nodes cleaned)and post-operation(p TNM classification, the time of getting out of bed, time of ventilation, time of extubation, time of given liquid diet, days of hospitalization after operation and cost of hospitalization). Results: Through the comparison between the experimental group and the control group,it can be seen that there was no significant difference in the general clinical data(age, gender, operation method, operation time, intraoperative blood loss, number of the lymph nodes cleaned and p TNM classification)between the two groups(P> 0.05),which is comparable. After the operation, there was a significant difference in the time of getting out of bed, time of extubation, time of given liquid diet, days of hospitalization after operation and the total cost of hospitalization in the comparison between two groups(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the time of getting out of bed(16.07 ± 4.41 vs.49.10 ± 15.25),time of ventilation(46.10 ± 16.69 vs.86.33 ± 19.14),time of pulling out urinary tube(1.13 ± 0.35 vs.3.27 ± 0.58),time of pulling out gastric tube(2.60 ± 0.93 vs.7.73 ± 1.91),time of pulling out abdominal drain tube(7.10 ± 2.55 vs.9.93 ± 3.70),time of given liquid diet(2.60 ± 0.93 vs.7.73 ± 1.91)and days of hospitalization after operation(9.80 ± 1.32 vs.15.87 ± 4.87)of the experimental group were all shortened, and the cost of hospitalization(65088.02 ± 10451.94 vs.71145.16 ± 14165.37)was reduced; there was no statistical significance in the difference of postoperative complications between the two groups(P> 0.05).Conclusion: As to the patients with advanced gastric cancer who were treated by enhanced recovery after surgery with the assistance of laparoscope, compared with the traditional perioperative period group, the time of getting out of bed, time of extubation, time of given liquid diet and days of hospitalization after operation were all in advance in the condition of not improving the complication incidence after operation, while the total cost of hospitalization was reduced. Its safety and efficacy in clinical work has been confirmed to some extent,so it is recommended to promote the application of enhanced recovery after surgery in the patients of advanced gastric cancer with the assistance of laparoscope.
