| Objective:By detecting the level of plasma growth differentiation factor 15(GDF-15)in the sample to explore whether there is some connection between the GDF-15 with kawasaki disease(KD),further to explore the impact of it to the whole process of the KD and to investigate the relationship between GDF-15 and coronary artery lesion.Methods:By enzyme-linked immune sorbent assay(ELISA)to detect the specified index of 50 children who comply with the diagnostic criteria of KD and be diagnosed with KD for the first time.The measured indicators is the GDF-15 levels in the blood plasma in acute and subacute stage of KD,and at the same time statistics the change of laboratory test index of ESR and CRP value of each sample.Then made 20 cases of healthy children as matched group and detect and collect the same plasma indexes and laboratory indexes of it with the same method.Then compare with the result of them.Divided the diseased into 2 groups by examining echocardiography and collecting coronary artery diameter(D)value of the sample.Compare the levels of GDF-15,CRP and ESR in the coronary artery lesion group and the non associated coronary artery and analyze the correlation of the plasma GDF-15 with ESR,CRP and the diameter of the coronary artery(D)in acute and subacute stage.Results:The levels of CRP,ESR and GDF-15 in acute KD patients [(1755.04 ± 165.88)ng/m L,(70.54 ± 9.63)mm/h,(75.19 ± 20.22)mg/L]were higher than Those in subacute stage [(1098.87 ± 70.85)ng/mL,(10.56 ± 1.37)mm/h,(12.77 ± 6.57)mg/L],subacute stage was higher than that of normal control group[(477.55 ± 31.14)ng/m L,(5.65 ± 1.73)mm/h,(5.40 ± 1.82)mg/L](P<0.05).The level of GDF-15,ESR and CRP in plasma of acute KD patients with coronary artery lesion was higher than that in KD patients with non-coronary artery lesion(t=8.62,P<0.05;t=4.60,P<0.05;t= 5.18,P<0.05).In addition,the level of GDF-15 in acute KD patients showed significantly positive correlation with ESR((r=0.58,P<0.05),CRP(r=0.41,P<0.05).and the diameter of coronary artery(D)(r= 0.56,P<0.05).Conclusion:GDF-15 is closely related with kawasaki disease progression,it not only plays an important role in the occurrence and development of kawasaki disease,but also determine the deterioration and outcome of kawasaki disease,at the same time there is a significant change of GDF-15 in kawasaki disease which complicated with severe coronary artery damage. |
