Relationship Between Blood Lipid Level And School-aged Children Of Asthma, and The Function Of Blood Lipid Between Asthma And Obesity | | Posted on:2018-06-12 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:J H Li | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2334330536986659 | Subject:Pediatrics | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Objective:1.To investigate the relationship between the serum lipid levels and School-aged children with asthma.2.To explore the role of blood lipid in the relationship between asthma and obesity.Methods:1.The object of study: between 2015 and 2017,6-to 14-year-old children were recruited from the second hospital of Tianjin medical university.According to BMI points, the 220 asthmatic children was future divided into four groups: obesity group(BMI >30),overweight group(BMI25-30),low weight group(BMI < 20)and normal group(BMI20-24.9);100 healthy children was selected as control group.2.All indicators: Measurements included anthropometric measures and blood lipids(TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL –C and VLDL-C),serum TIg E,Fe NO,pulmonary function testing.3.Laboratory analysis: The blood lipids were measured by a biochemisty analyzer(MS 2000,Shenzhen);The serum TIg E were measured by a fluorescence immunoassay analyzer(Phadia 100,Sweden);The lung function were measured by a Pulmonary function test system(Power Cube-Body,Germany).4.Statistical analysis: All the data analysis was performed using spss20.0 statistical software.Describe the measurement data variables was used mean ±standard deviation(sx ±),describe the count data was used the Kruskal-Wallis chi-square.Results:1.The lipid levels between the asthma group and control group: the TC levels of asthma group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),the LDL-C and VLDL-C levels of asthma group was obviously higher than that of control group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.001).The results had no gender differences.2.The lipid levels between the obesity, overweight, low weight and the normal group: The TG levels of the obesity and overweight group was higher than the normal group and low weight, the difference were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The HDL-C levels of the obesity and overweight was lower than the normal and the low weight group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3.The lipid levels of overweight and obesity children: In boys, overweight asthmatics had a significantly higher risk of dyslipidemia(higher triglycerides,TC,and LDL-C,and lower HDL-C)compared to non-overweight asthmatics. This association also existed in the girl. The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).We found similar results in the obesity children.4.The blood lipid levels between the high TIgE group and the normal TIgE group: The blood lipid levels between the high TIg E group and the normal TIg E group had no significant difference(P > 0.05).5.Blood lipid levels and aeroallergens sensitization:The LDL-C levels of the aeroallergens sensitization positive group was higher than the aeroallergens sensitization negative groups, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).6.Blood lipid levels and lung function and Fe NO values: TG and LDL-C levels was associated with lung function. The lung function of the high TG group and high LDL-C group was lower than the normal group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference of Fe NO values of different lipid levels(P > 0.05).7.Blood lipid levels and the related factors of asthma :the course, age at first breathing, breathing episodes annually and the times of emergency treatment or hospitalization of the asthmatic children had no obvious relation with blood lipid levels(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.This study found that the blood lipid profile is associated with school-aged and children with asthma, lung function, airway obstruction and aeroallergen sensitization and obesity.2.This study identifies novel characteristics of hyperlipidemia and interactions between obesity and asthma. The findings suggest control weight and cholesterol intake may play an important role in the treatment of asthma control. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Asthma, Lipid, Obesity, Lung function, Fe NO, Children | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
