OBJECTIVES:In high age pregnant women,to explore the correlation between doppler ultrasound monitoring of uterine artery and fetal hemodynamics parameters in the third trimester of pregnancy and predicting pregnancy outcome.METHODS:Selected 100 cases of pregnant women who gave birth to the baby in our hospital randomly, examined the Doppler ultrasound at the third trimester. The pregnant women were divided into three groups according to the age of the pregnant women and the pregnancy outcome: In group A,32 normal age pregnant women aged 22 to 35 years, mean 28.5 years;gestational age 28 to 40,an average of 34 weeks, the normal outcome group; In group B,36 cases of high age pregnant women aged 35 to 41 years, mean 38 years;gestational age 28 to 40,an average of 34 weeks, the normal outcome of pregnancy; In group C,32 cases of high age pregnant women aged 35 to 51 years, mean 43 years;gestational age 28 to 40,an average of 34 weeks, abnormal pregnancy outcome. The hemodynamic parameters(PSV,EDV,RI,PI,S/D)of uterine artery, umbilical artery and fetal middle cerebral artery were monitored in the three groups at the third trimester of pregnancy.Follow up of pregnancy outcome, the normal pregnancy outcome that gestational weeks > 37 weeks, weight > 2500 g,and 5 minute Apgar score of 7 to10 points;abnormal pregnancy outcome that premature children, intrauterine distress, low birth weight children, viable infant.RESULTS:1.Comparative analysis of group B and group A,the hemodynamic parameters of uterine artery, umbilical artery and fetal middle cerebral artery(PSV,EDV,RI,PI,S/D)were not significantly different(P≥0.05).2.Comparative analysis of group C and group B,fetal middle cerebral artery PI was statistically significant(P < 0.05),the value of PI in group C(2.16 + 2.57)was higher than that of group B(1.51 + 0.39).There were no significant differences in the hemodynamic parameters(PSV,EDV,RI,PI,S/D)of Uterine artery and umbilical artery(P≥0.05)between group C and group B.CONCLUSIONS:There is a certain reference value to judge whether there is fetal distress and neonatal prognosis by the PI value of the fetal middle cerebral artery in older pregnant women examined by Ultrasonic Doppler examination, which should be to provide some reference information for clinicians to predict the pregnancy outcome of the older pregnant women.
