Treatment Of Chronic Idiopathic Tinnitus With Tinnitus Consulting And Intravenous Lidocaine Combined With Leading-in Gastrodin Through External Auditory Meatus By Audio Frequency Resonance

Objective To investigate the short-term treatment efficacy of chronicidiopathic tinnitus with tinnitus consulting and intravenouslidocaine combined with leading-in gastrodin through external auditory meatus by audio frequency resonance.Materials and methods 108 cases of chronic idiopathictinnitus patients,hospitalized in the Department of ENT of Wuxi Jia Shi Heng Xing Hospital from November2015 to October2016,were randomly divided into conventional group,experimental group and control group respectively and 63 cases were female and 45 were male,and 45patients suffered from unilateral tinnitus,63 suffered from bilateral tinnitus.On the basis of providing tinnitus consulting to each group,the conventional group was only given intravenous infusion of lidocaine 0.2g,one times a day for 14days.Beside of intravenous infusion of lidocaine,the experimental group was treated with leading-in Gastrodin 2ml,one times a day for 14days,and the control group was treated with leading-in normal saline,one times a day for 14 days,both groups were by audio frequency resonance through external auditory meatus.Baseline levels between groups including age,gender,frequency of primary tone,loudness,duration and degree of hearing loss were analyzed statistically.The way of Tinnitus Severity and Efficacy Score were used to evaluate the efficacy of tinnitus after endpoint of the treatment one month later.Results There were no statistically significant difference between the three groups in age,gender,frequency of primary tone,loudness,duration and degree of hearing loss(P>0.05).The experimental group had good curative effect,and the effective rate was 83.3%.The conventional group and the control group hadpoor curative effect,and their effective rates were only 47.2%and 52.8%,respectively.Comparing the experimental group with the control group and conventional group,statistical significance in efficacy was found(p<0.05).Comparing the conventional group with the control group,no statistical significance in efficacy was found(p>0.05).Conclusion The comprehensive treatment of chronic idiopathic tinnitus by tinnitus consulting and meanwhile intravenously injecting lidocaine and to leading-in gastrodin through external auditory meatus by audio frequency resonance has high short-term efficacy and is a save and noninvasive method worthy of clinical application.
