Objective:1.To understand the professional identity status quo of nursing students in the early and late internship;2.To understand the professional role model status quo of nursing students in the early and late internship;3.To explore the relationship between professional identity and professional role model of nursing students in the early and late internship;4.To explore the influencing factors of nursing students'professional identity in the early and late internship;5.To put forward some suggestions to improve nursing students'professional identity according to the research results.Methods:The method of cluster sampling was adopted.From July 2016 to May2017,all female students interning in five first-class hospitals in Urumqi were selected.The survey was carried out with general information survey questionnaire and professional identity scale and basic situation questionnaire of the professional role model and professional role model of nursing students.Use EpiData3.1 software to input data,and SPSS21.0 software for data analysis.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results:1.The nursing students'professional identity score was(123.34±21.93)points in the early internship,and in the late internship the score was(119.44±21.06)points.There was significant difference between the early and late internship in professional identity total score,andthe t value is 3.719,P<0.001.2.The score of professional role model of nursing students in the early internship was(85.62±12.11)points and the late score was(82.32±12.23)points.3.The professional identity and professional role model were positively correlated both in the early and late internship,the early internship r value was 0.627 and the late internship r value was 0.635,P<0.001?4.By Stepwise regression analysis in the early internship the influencing factors of the nursing students'professional identity were professional role model score,the eve of the decision-making,avoidance,whether meet the professional role model and hospital type,the correction R~2 value was 0.444;in the late internship the influencing factors were professional role model score,the eve of the decision-making,academic level,employment intentions for nurses and the hospital type,the correction R~2 value was 0.458.Conclusion:1.The status quo of nursing students'professional identity in early and late internship was at the middle level,but the late score was significantly lower than the early internship.2.The status quo of nursing students'professional role model was in the upper middle level in the internship.3.Nursing students'professional identity and professional role model scores were positively correlatedin early and lateinternship,the professional role model score was higher and the higher their professional identity score was.4.The development and formation of nursing professional identity were related to many factors,especially the professional role models in the internship.Nursing educators should take corresponding measures according to different situations to improve the professional identity of nursing students.
