Echinococcosis(hydatid disease)is a zoonotic infection caused of the class cestoda.Human echinococcosis mainly have two types: one is the dog tape worm(Echinococcus granulosus or cysticus;cystic echinococcosis),the other is fox tapeworm(Echinococcus multilocularisor alveolaris;alveolar echinococcosis). Now,there is a radical change in the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of cystic echinococcosis. However,it does not apply to the alveolar echinococcosis, because of its infiltrative growth. When the lesion is widely observed, the lesion often cannot be resected, which is easily misdiagnosed as liver cancer and delayed treatment,so the prognosis is worse. It is still difficult that distinguish the alveolar echinococcosis and cystic echinococcosis to diagnosis and treatment. Therefore, ultrasonography has been recognized as the first choice imaging examination. In the issues which to distinguish between cystic and alveolar echinococcosis and early diagnosis of alveolar echinococcosis disease, the application of ultrasonography in the diagnosis of alveolar echinococcosis as the main object of our study,on the basis of understanding ultrasonic diagnosis. We will classify the traditional ultrasound images and will analyze and study the parameters of contrast-enhanced ultrasound images. As a result,we could obtain the characteristic ultrasonographic features of early diagnosis of alveolar echinococcosis and could know the different characteristics among the classifications after contrast-enhanced ultrasonic. The main contents are as follows:1.The MDT team went to the epidemic area of high incidence of Alveolar echinococcosis to carry out the ultrasound screening of alveolar echinococcosis disease. The patients who were highly suspected of alveolar echinococcosis disease were examined by serology and followed up for one year. After above the examinations the patients eventually were diagnosed the alveolar echinococcosis disease by clinical doctors.Firstly, the ultrasonic images of patients with Alveolar echinococcosis disease were randomly selected, then the image data was analyzed statistically, and finally the conclusion was reached.2.Firstly,the patients who would about to surgery in our hospital were examined by contrast-enhanced ultrasound images. We will collect and analysis their image data of CEUS images, finally come to the conclusion.According to the analysis results, the following conclusions are drawn:1.There are different features of ultrasound morphology among the five classifications. There is a significant difference about the size of lesion among the five classification, especially in pseudocystic and ossification.2.The lesion size of the contrast-enhanced ultrasonic was significantly larger than that measured by traditional ultrasound in the same section. The enhanced model of AE,which in the arterial period, the peripheral region of the lesion was enhanced with the normal liver parenchyma.when the intensity of contrast agent reached to the peak, the lesion margin show the inhomogeneous and low enhancement, and the portal vein began to fade. There were no obvious contrast agents in the central area of the lesion. There was no significant difference in the enhancement intensity of the peripheral zone of different classifications of alveolar echinococcosis.
