Objective: To analysis the correlation between multiple factors and changes in left ventricular mass indix(LVMI),so as to provide a clinical basis for the early prevention and treatment of cardiac damage.Methods:400 cases of hypertension clinic in our hospital were selected.Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM),fasting blood glucose, blood lipid sand cardiac colour sonography were performed respectively. The patients were divided into increased group(n=85)and normal group(n=315)based on LVMI.Regression analysis of indicators were carried out among the groups with significant differences Of which 155 patients with drug medication were divided into: group A [n = 51,taking angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors(ACEI)or angiotensin receptor blockers(ARB)],group B(n=15,taking beta blockers),group C(n=76,taking calcium channel blockers),group D(n =13,Take a diuretic),to analyze the differences of he indexes among different drug groups and the effect of different drugs on LVMI.Consequence:1.Compared with LVMI normal groups, body mass index(BMI),waist circumference, course of hypertension, clinic systolic blood pressure, average blood pressure of 24 h,daytime mean blood pressure, the mean night pressure, the morning mean blood pressure, the daytime pressure load, the night blood pressure load, the night diastolic pressure variability, and the 24 h mean heart rate in LVMI increased group were significantly higher(P < 0.05).Moreover,Proportion of male patients and the prevalence of hypertension and diabetes was significantly increased in the positive group.Logistic regression analysis showed that hypertension, diabetes, the course of hypertension,24 hour mean systolic pressure, daytime systolic pressure, night systolic pressure load, systolic pressure circadian rhythm, night diastolic pressure variability and 24 hour mean heart rate were all the influence factors of LVMI change.2.The level and positive rate of LVMI in patients taking ACEI or ARB or calcium channel blockers were lower than those taking diuretic or beta blockers, and ACEI or ARB or calcium channel blockers were the protective factors for LVMI.Conclusion:1.High blood pressure and diabetes are the risk factors for the increased LVMI.The multiple factors such as men,the course of hypertension, the night systolic pressure load, the variability of night diastolic pressure, and 24 hour mean heart rate are of great significance to the increase of LVMI.2.ACEI and/or ARB or calcium channel blockers play a protective role in changes of LVMI with essential hypertension patients.
