Objective:To compare the short-term curative effect between the pelvic autonomic nerve preserved(PANP)in laparoscopic-assisted radical resection of rectal cancer and traditional open radical operation of rectal cancer(the impact of postoperative sexual function and micturition function). To research the clinical value of laparoscopic-assisted operation of PANP.Methods: A retrospective study was conducted 84 male rectal cancer patients diagnosed by colonoscopy、pathological and medical imaging and they were collected in the department of gastrointestinal surgery in the department of gastrointestinal surgery of Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital from January 2015 to January 2017.According to the operation method, the 84 patients divided into two groups: the laparoscopic group(43 patients)and the open group(41 patients). All the patients were underwent surgery by the same master knife. To compare the two groups’ relevant indicators include intraoperative situation, postoperative recovery, postoperative pathological, postoperative complications, the incidence of postoperative sexual dysfunction and urination dysfunction then come to the conclusion. Results: General information of the two groups includs age、tumor location、clinical stage of tumor have no significant difference(P>0.05).The opration time of open group is shorter than the laparoscopic group(P<0.05).But the intraoperative blood loss of the laparoscopic group is significant less than the open group(P<0.05).The postoperative getting out-of-bed time of the open group is shorter than the laparoscopic group(P<0.05).The postoperative first exhaust time and the meal time of the laparoscopic group is shorter than the open group(P<0.05).There is no significant difference between the two groups in postoperative complications(P>0.05).There is no significant difference between the two groups in surgical safety includs the number of lymph nodes removed during operation and the length of the cutting edge(P>0.05).The incidence of postoperative sexual dysfunction and urination dysfunction of the laparoscopic group is lower than the open group(P<0.05).Conclusion: The pelvic autonomic nerve preserved(PANP)in laparoscopic-assisted radical resection of rectal cancer is safe and effective. The PANP’ operation trauma is light and the postoperative recovery time is short.Copared with the open group the laparoscopic group has significant advantage in the incidence of postoperative sexual dysfunction and urination dysfunction. The pelvic autonomic nerve preserved(PANP)in laparoscopic-assisted radical resection of rectal cancer is worth be promoted.
