| It is very common that the delexical verb as complement in Chinese, it is also a difficult point of foreign Chinese teaching. This paper selected four common complements in daily life as research subjects, there were “Tou”, “Si”, “Diao” and “Zhu”. The author analyzed the diachronic development of them, then summarized their grammatical constructions and grammatical features as complements, and finally put forward the method of foreign Chinese teaching for this grammatical phenomenon. It may have benefits for ontology research of Chinese and practical application of foreign Chinese teaching.Chapter one is the thesis introduction, in which clarifies the subjects and gives an overview of this article, also introduces research method and material source. In Chapter two,the author conducts the study on the complements “Tou”, “Si”, “Diao” and “Zhu”, also explains the delexical process and complementary formation of them, analyzes the grammatical features as complements. In Chapter three, the analysis of distribution to the complements “Tou”, “Si”, “Diao” and “Zhu” is expressed. The writer gives some teaching suggestions on teaching arrangement, and listening, speaking, reading and writing competency training for the delexical verb as complement, this findings mainly according to the comprehensive analysis on the HSK GradingStandards and Grammar Outline and the textbook Chinese Development.
