A Practice Report Of Simulative Simultaneous Interpreting For Hebei Provincial Governor's Keynote Speech At The Eleventh Lanting Forum

This practice report is a simulative simultaneous interpreting report, taking the speech delivered by Hebei provincial governor at the eleventh Lanting forum as the research material.This report consists of four chapters. Chapter One introduces the description of the task. Chapter Two is the description of the translation process, introducing the preparation, the actual translation process and after-process matters in interpreting. In Chapter Three, it mainly elaborates the analysis of the typical problems in the report. And then the author suggests some strategies to solve these problems, such as the use of segmentation, addition, conversion and anticipation. Chapter Four is the summary of the whole text and the author draws some conclusions from the text. That is the importance of having theoretical knowledge, knowledge reserve and psychological quality.This report is intended to summarize the experience from this interpreting practice and the implications for the future study, so as to improve the efficiency and quality of interpreting.
