A Study On The Concept Of Modern Chinese Nation State

The history of modern China,is the process of the collapse of traditional Chinese system and the trend of modern world. The formation of the concept of“Nation-state”, as well as describe and analyze the human history of the national political phenomenon, which is after the end of the Middle Ages in the western countries. However, the political phenomenon that people used the concept of “state” has appeared in the early stage of human history. In fact, the state is only a political form of human being for the organization and management of social life. It is a political structure that has been formed after the development of the clan and tribe. In its essence, the state is a kind of public power, which is based on violence. The problem of “Nation-state” has always been controversial,most scholars tend to establish a historical process since the late Qing Dynasty, in fact, it has already begun to study the concept of the “Nation-state” in various ways of expression in the early modern times.In ancient China, the “state” concept has no real meaning, which occupy the mainstream of consciousness has been the traditional concept of “world”.The end of the Qing Dynasty, China began to change from the traditional to the modern nation state Dynasty, the outbreak of the Opium War led to the survival environment of China, the invasion of the western capitalism began to enter China, the traditional “world” concept began to shake;The Sion-Japanese War,attacked the traditional view of our country all the nations of the world,Under the impact of Western power,the traditional concept of state has been a variation of transformation. The revolution of 1911 ended the traditional Dynasty,and opened the process of building the nation state of China in modern times.The study of modern Chinese national concept in the modern history of the performance and the initial formation, transformation and final establishment of the evolution process, we have a more clear and comprehensive understanding of modern China's political ideas,to know the situation of the development of modern Chinese society,to build China into a strong,prosperous,democratic and harmonious socialist country has important significance.
