Geographical Linguistics, means selecting a small investigating items in the dialect research, conducting a dialect survey of more dialect points, then according to field survey results, using the method of drawing the dialect map to reflect the distribution of the dialect in a region. At the same time, explain the linguistics discrepancies between the internal of the same dialect or the different dialects.In this paper, the research method of Geographical Linguistics is the primary method, meanwhile take account of the traditional linguistics method, through dialect investigation and recording collection of the TaiWo country NanKang area(a typical location), sorting out the phonetic system of dialect, filtering out the most representative speech items and dialect characteristic words, the field survey include50 investigate points in the 21 villages and towns of NanKang area. According to the investigate result, filter out 31 survey items with distinguishing features, drawing 26 geographical distribution of dialects, then getting 17 isoglosses. Those similar trend of isoglosses overlying form three important isogloss beams A,B,C, NanKang dialects then be divided into KangTou zone, TangJiang zone, TaiWo zone and RongJiang river zone. This paper describe and analyze those four dialect zones internal conditions and differences, at the same time combining those non-linguistic features such as topography, mountains and rivers, division adjustment, economy and traffic, culture and education, immigration and so on explain those geographic dialect classification of NanKang area.This paper use intuitive and simple investigate method, partitioning the NanKang dialects, complementing and perfecting the internal different research of NanKang dialects, providing factual data of NanKang dialects research.
