The Phoneti Study Of Xinzhou Dialect In Anren Country Of Hunan Province

Xinzhou Village is located in the southeastern part of Anren, adjacent to Guangwang Town in the southeast,with Dongkou Village of Yongxing County to the southwest, Longhai Town, Pingshang Village to the northwest, and Zhushan, Pingshang Village to the northeast.The geographical position of Xinzhou Township is particular, but the Xinzhou dialect is more special. Xinzhou dialect not only fuses Xiang dialect and Gan dialect, but also influenced by the Hakka as Xinzhou is populated by some Hakka people. This paper based on the practical investigation of Xinzhou dialect, describes in detail the phonetic features of this dialect. Also, this paper compares the phonologic system of the Xinzhou dialect with the phonologic systems of Xiang dialect, Gan dialect and Hakka. In the last place, the paper discusses the attribution of Xinzhou dialect, which is the value and innovative points of this paper.This paper is divided into three parts. Part one is to introduces the general situation of Xinzhou Township, to concludes the current research state of Hunan Gan dialect.And discusses the significance and value of writing this article.Part Two is a description of the phonetic system of Xinzhou dialect.Part Three compares and contrasts between Xinzhou and Changsha Nanchang Rucheng accents theirs initial consonants and vowel and tones.
