The Study On The Content Structure Of Entrepreneurial Failure And It's Relationship With Other Factors

For most entrepreneurs, failure is the basic element of entrepreneurship. Therefore, business failure is a kind of stressful events that the individual can always encounter in their entrepreneurial process. The entrepreneurial failure can has a comprehensive impact of the life of. Not only can cause the less income, but also destroy the relations between entrepreneurs and their friends, reputation, physical and mental health of them. Currently, the scholars of entrepreneurial failure have already made some research achievements, however, there also lack of some relative research of content structure of entrepreneurial failure. Therefore, the issue we concern about will help us have a deeper understanding of the influence of the business fail to entrepreneurs. In addition, the study on how to deal with failure and the influence of social comparison to the entrepreneurs not only beneficial to our understanding of the mechanism of entrepreneurial failure, but have appositive effects on subsequent study and entrepreneurship.This research adopted literature review, personal interview, questionnaires and other research methods to discuss the content structure of entrepreneurial failure and develop the questionnaire. Also, we analyzed the failure of entrepreneurs through the exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation model, regression analysis, Bootstrap test and other statistical techniques. Then we get the following conclusions:First, the content structure of entrepreneurial failure consists of three dimensions, that is, the financial indicator of the failure, the social indicator of the failure and the mental indicator of the failure. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire meet the basic requirements of psychometrics. The internal consistency coefficients of it is 0.90, each subscale'? value is 0.82, 0.80, 0.87.Second, the research shows the demographic and histological differences of business failure. The results indicate that different gender, company property and the company establishing years have no significant differences in business failure on all dimensions; the age and level of education on the financial level have significant differences; the size of company on the financial level and social level have significant differences, but in the psychological level there is no significant difference.Third, in the study of the relations of business failure, social comparison and coping styles, entrepreneurial failure has a significant prediction effect to the coping styles; during the research on the intermediation that social comparison plays a partial intermediary role between the entrepreneurial failure and coping styles.
