Opera is a comprehensive art of music(vocal music,instrumental music),drama(script),literature(poetry),dance and stage techniques,but is also one of the important artistic form of the vocal music.Opera training is a comprehensive art training,it not only has a positive role in promoting the skills of singing,but also can improve the students’ artistic accomplishment and let students have an all-round development.The combinative teaching of vocal music and opera practical teaching is the need for social progress and development.Promoting opera teaching practice should be the important issues of university and college.This paper is divided into three parts:IntroductionChapter one,the necessary of opera performance classes for Normal University Master of Fine Arts.Chapter two,the practice progress of opera performances.The first section is about the theory of opera performances.The second section is about the preparation work of opera rehearsal,including the attentions and importance of role of doubly,script analysis,music analysis,and opera character analysis.the third section is how to solve the problems in opera performance,including intonation,rhythm and accompaniment,cooperation,dialogue and subtext,physical performance and aria.Chapter three,opera performance can have a promotion effect in artistic accomplishment,emotional expression,stage performance,the ability to cooperate with others and singing confidence etc.Peroration,the author puts forward some superficial views through opera rehearsal and performance,summarizes the significance of MFA training by artistic practice of vocal music.It can have a guiding function for vocal music learners.
