A Stuty And Analysis On The Sixth Edition Of Modern Chinese Dictionary’s Part Of Speech Tagging

Modern Chinese Dictionary(hereinafter referred to as Modern Chinese)is a very authoritative Chinese reference book,and it has a high status in academic circles.The sixth edition of Modern Chinese keeping up with the times,it is revised on the basis of the fifth edition.Set up research topics from the words,inclusion of headwords,examples,meanings and so on.So Modern Chinese has a strong normative,scientific and systematic.Every revision of Modern Chinese shows that it is trying to make up for the shortcomings of the past,and discretionary reflect the phenomenon of new words,overcome with all dictionary usually lag,and as far as possible to serve the needs of the current public language application.In spite of this,every time after the amendments,with the time goes on,people will often find the omission or the emergence of new problems.The research object of this paper is the sixth edition of Modern Chinese Dictionary’s part of speech tagging,from four big aspects to discuss:First in summaries on the basis of previous studies,to explore the theory associated with the part of speech of.Generalizes the system of modern Chinese parts of speech,and of the meaning of part-of-speech tagging and made a simple description of principle.The writing staff of Modern Chinese written should choose appropriate parts of speech system,and keep the meanings,examples match with part of speech consistent,and pay attention to multi-category words etc.The second part focuses on the comparison of the Modern Chinese 6th edition and 5th edition of part of speech tagging,mainly is what changes took place in the contrast the 5th edition of the original words.We found that the part of speech of some words,meanings and examples with the change after careful comparison analysis.The third part is mainly about the part of speech analysis of the new words in the sixth edition of Chinese Modern.The last part we discussed some problems which related part of speech on the 6th edition of Modern Chinese,such as part of speech and with examples and the meanings of the consistency,the usual language of part of speech tagging etc.Then points out the possible causes of these problems.Based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis method in this paper,the theory of modern Chinese grammar is a guide to the qualitative analysis of the concept of part of speech.More than 69000 words in the sixth edition of modern Chinese dictionary are the objects of our study,then we checking all parts of speech tagging.Finally came to the conclusion that between social language use and dictionary is an interactive process,especially the authoritative dictionary,more need to have perfected constantly,therefore the revision of Modern Chinese is never-ending.
