The Research Of Contemporary Chinese Philanthropic Ethics

With the progress of China’s economy and society, philanthropy has been much developing. However, chaos of charity and charity scandal has exposed, “donation fraud”、“naked donation charity”continuously impact and challenge the bottom line of the social moral. The charity should be a kind of moral behavior, the various charitable chaos and scandal has violated the charity moral value, charity needs to build a corresponding ethical system, so strengthening the philanthropic ethics research has become an importantly imminent topic.In this paper, on the basis of the theory of ethics, ethical issues of contemporary charity made some exploratory research, initially formed the following views:“Charity”, as a kind of moral phenomenon unique to human society and social activities, refers to individuals or organizations in conscience, moral psychology factors such as love, compassion, driven by voluntary through making donations, volunteer service and other forms to the disadvantaged people or organizations, the implementation of altruistic ACTS or activities you planned to. And “philanthropy ethics” is to explore the generation of moral value of charity event, moral value standards and special ethics theory system about the charity. Philanthropic ethics is an integral part of the social moral system, with altruism, free and humanitarian and other important features.Ethical system of modern China contains three aspects, "concept, behavior, system". Observing from the concept of charity, philanthropy, charity system, present situation of charitable ethics has both good development momentum, and also negative factors. Charity ethical system still exists lack of credibility, continuous drain on charitable trust, ethical spirit of charity such outstanding problems as a challenge. Caused by China’s charity of the main causes of ethical problems, such as: political tend to blur the ethical nature of charity, "rich people to do good" misguided charity ethical concept of development, human submerged charity and justice, etc.Building China charity ethics, should be based on the Internet thought on the basis of equality, transparency and mutual aid, contracts, etc. Based on the core value concept. People need to follow the following several characteristics: symbiotic, permeability, hierarchy and diversity. On this basis, people especially must insist on the principle of super utility, the principle of voluntary, the principle of good faith, the principle of respect, the principle of transparency. Contemporary philanthropic ethics construction should not only follow the general rule of ethics construction, and combine the characteristics of the development of charity and the actual, integrating philanthropic ethics basic factors; Resonance philanthropic ethics multiple levels; Through statutory ethical boundaries between the government and society, our society will realize the regression of ethics charity; To promote the human ethics to contract ethics, ensure fairness and justice of charity; Advocate wealth worship into “capital spirit”, release of the moral value of the charity.
