| HE Shaoji was an outstanding calligrapher in late Qing Dynasty. The researches related to his life and artistic achievements are massive. However, research findings in the field of HE’s seal scripts are rare comparing with the research of his other aspects.HE’s seal scripts contains a wealth of artistic language. The seal scripts techniques should be the key of the research on the causes of his seal style. The author has analyzed HE’s seal scripts from line, font and chapter aspects. The blank research field of HE’s seal scripts will be filled. These researches can be the guidance for artistic creationsFinally, the author has made a study on his own creation based on the analysis of HE’s seal. Prospects are proposed how to create his own work learning from HE’s seal scripts style. |
